Park Road Fish Bar in Shepway

Been coming here for 20 years or so now. Consistently the best fish and chip shop that I know of. They really care and make an effort, this shows in the quality of the food. Jumbo battered & chips please!

Fantastic Gluten Free fish and chips. When we arrived the customers were queuing out of the shop onto the street, always a good sign, it was really popular, and for a reason. Orders were taken efficiency and it was only a short wait for our cooked to order Gluten Free meal for the entire family, and it was worth it. Best Gluten Free batter I've ever had. Thank you to all the staff, it was great.

Well where do I start??? The food is great 😊 but my only problem is you turn up and the potatoes are still growing, the sausage is still a live pig. Unfortunately you have to wait for the potatoes to be picked and and the pig to be slaughtered. But all in all a good experience. Love you guys

Lovely food and freshly cooked. Not greasy at all. Just a busy place. Which says it all if everyone was there.

Nice, but for us, peas were a bit tasteless, fish was a teeney bit dry, the batter was great, chips were lovely.

The chips were bought from here were great. My grandsons loved them. Not impressed by their fish cake but not had one in years. Generous salt and vinegar which I appreciated.

Food is absolutely spot on took the fish and chips down the beech and enjoyed it there. (watch out for the seagulls!!) Highly recommend

Third visit and we'll worth it. Fish and chips are cooked to perfection and are piping hot with portions excellent value for the price. Being a full blown ceoliac this fish bar is fantastic and the staff go the extra mile. I will definitely recommend a visit or two. Alan

Very clean covid safe. Fast service very friendly. Had Cod and chips today. Very fresh. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend

Lovely fish and chips, eaten on the beach. It's a bit chaotic when busy at the moment (social distancing), we joined a long queue outside at peak time 6pm, collected our food at 6:35. Not bad and it was sunny so not an unpleasant wait.
