Stade Court Hotel Lounge Bar in Shepway

I haven't managed to stay in this hotel, so this review is about their customer service. I booked this in March to stay at the end of October. A couple of weeks ago I get a message saying thank you for cancelling your booking. I called customer services who told me that I had cancelled. When I explained that I hadn't they kept on saying that I had. They offered to rebook for me.I then called up the hotel directly who told me that I had never had a booking! They eventually admitted that they had been closed since July and that all bookings had been had been cancelled. No appolgy, no explanation as to why they had waited over 2 months to tell me.Overall I have found the customer service to be unhelpful and inaccurate. The fact that they offered to book me into a closed hotel demonstrates how disorganised they are.

The OYO Stade Court Hotel is definitely in need of a bit of loving and updating. My room was well appointed, clean with an extremely comfortable bed however the bath was badly stained so much so I would and could not use it. There was a plastic bath mat which had seen better days and should never have been left in the room.The terrace was very clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed with a full clear view of the beach and sea.With all this said the Staff members were a delight, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient although the hot drinks were not hot even though the young waitress redid them.This hotel could be a leader in its class if it was updated and totally refurbished.My thanks goes to the Manager and his Team and I wish them lots of luck for the future.

Good Hotel with all standard Facilities. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff! View from the room is Excellent! They even had fan in the room during summer time. It's even accessible to the high street. Love to go shopping in local shops whenever we visit Hythe and we always stay in Stade Court Hotel.

Great and friendly staff ended up extending for 2 nights and was made to feel welcome.Great rooms also.Only down fall was one of the staff supported Liverpool tried to get him to switch but never worked.🤣🤣🤣🤣Keep up the good work and i will be back.

A very enjoyable stay, everything was excellent. The full English breakfast was enormous and kept us going all day! A perfect location, with a sea view room we could watch the ocean swimmers and surfers in comfort. Will definitely return.

This is a great find. Located right on the seafront. Very clean and the staff are kind and attentive. The rooms are small and simple but more than adequate. Low cost makes it great value for money. Particularly suitable mature single people or couples. I dont think it would suit large families .My wife stayed with her Mother while I stayed with an old friend nearby. They enjoyed yheir stay here. It is not the Ritz and there are no frills but it is in a great location, safe and clean. Traditional English Breakfast I'm told was great. Ate out for Supper each evening but I would guess the food would be OK. There is a very nice restaurant the "Waterfront" opposite which was really excellent. Parking is available at the rear but street parking is free. The lift is very small but was ok for two people.The Bar is very good and has large TV for sports fans and this area opens up onto a every pleasant decked out courtyard, idea for relaxing in the sun. Nice level promenade ideal for elderly or wheelchair users to enjoy. Cycle hire is directly available here.

Clean room amazing views, we stay in the same family room every visit, our children love having there own floor above us.We had a problem with our television and it was sorted within 15 minutes.Can't wait to go back again 👍
