Tatners Food Van in Shepway

Four of us ate here this evening really nice food, simple - but that's not a bad thing. Strongly recommend the gyros.Prices are not cheap... but then that's the world we live in these days. I didn't find them as outrageous as some places these days.Staff attentive and friendly. A nice touch is that they allow dogs in the restaurant without hesitation. I recognise not everyone will view that as a "plus".

What a fantastic restaurant and great service. The food was delicious, probably the best vegan burgers and nuggets I've ever had along with the halloumi fries and peri peri sauce. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be travelling the distance just to eat here again. Literally finger licking good.

Had a wonderful meal Monday evening here, and I just had to try the KFCP, while my husband got the Badass Mother Clucker sofa sufer. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our server was so friendly. Each time we come back and try something else on the menu and love it!! Definitely worth stopping by!

Stopped off in Rye on the way back from the beach. The place had good reviews so we tried it out.Small 0lace tucked in between a cafe and some houses. The staff told us there was a wait due to the number of pending orders. But they were attentive and sat us down as soon as they could and got us some drinks while we waited.Had a really really good order of chowder, creamy and loaded with seafood. Do try this if you are there.Also ordered the Brisket Tasca , which was good. Took away a Pancetta Mac and cheese which was superb as well, cheesy and loaded with bacon bits.

Awesome little restaurant, went there for two meals over the Easter break and both times the food was exceptional. It’s mostly streetfood style but done really, really well. Also, they offer ridiculous amount of upgrade options/sauces for fries.

One of the best meals I've ever had! We had the Clucking good burger and the Korean Fried Chicken and it was absolutely beautiful. Added to that the staff were incredibly nice. I would personally recommend this place to anyone coming to Rye.

The first time we ended up here is because another place let us down last minute. We were on our way to yet another place then saw Tatners. Well let me tell you: best decision ever! So much so we went back less than a week later. Lovely atmosphere, suitable for all ages!, take away as well as eat in, and lovely staff.The food was amazing. Well cooked and everything tastes better than you could ever expect.If you're in Rye you have got to eat here!

Tatner’s Street Kitchen - another local Jem within RyeA relaxed, rustic, warmly dining restaurant a place for all who want to relax and have a good “American” / “street food” style meal. A great place to get out the house and enjoy some good food.I’ve had this place both takeout and dine in, and of course Dine in was my favourite choice. Customer service was A*, employees were polite and efficient. Food times were perfect short average waiting times.I had a lightly battered chicken burger with the most amazing Satay Mayo sauce, very rich intense and combination which has open another proportion of my palate. A dish which I could see london Restaurants having. Chips was crisp and fluffy with an amazing rosemary seasoning. Price is fair for the quality of the meal and alongside a Resturant which Rye has needed for a long time, tucked away this restaurant alongside the road, so a unique spot.I will definitely coming back to order more takeaway.Being a huge fan of street food with experiences from all over the world and many British Street Food market I can understand that this is a great way to enjoy street food on a relaxed, calm fashion, a “entry point” a line between the Resturant and street food vibes.Thank you for the great food.

Based on google review we decided to make a stop after our visit to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.We were not disappointed!! Service staff were super friendly and amazing. Helped us organise a large group of 9 perfectly.Burgers, Dawgs and fries were perfectly cook and we loved it. Mac and cheese was the best we had for ages.Love the concept of fries with your pick of condiments to accompany them. Fries were perfectly cooked. Love the crisp and crunchy bits !!!We will definitely be back next time we are around Rye. High recommend a visit if you in town.
