We had a delicious Sunday morning breakfast here, it was exactly what we needed after a night out! I had a vegan cooked breakfast and my boyfriend had a meat cooked breakfast - everything was lovely! We will be back again. They unfortunately didn't have any non-dairy milk but otherwise it was all spot on. It was also WW2 themed, which was a nice touch.

Arrived on spec. Lovely engaging female waiting staff.Had delicious fried whiting with proper chips. Followed by homemade cheesecake that I would consider leaving home for. The lovely engaging female staff member also shared her Yorkshire pudding making tips. More importantly she was an obvious expert on all the best local gins.Would definitely be a regular if I was a local, and didn't live in the Oscar gin distillery of the world, namely Drumshanbo.I can forget what something costs, but always remember the experience which was⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped in Folkstone for the first time, upon arriving my family and I ventured to The Bouverie Tap. Highly enjoyed the authenticity of the pub, and the personable staff. Dani our server was great! Suggesting a variety of drinking options to try. Additionally, I recommend you try the fish and chips, you won’t be disappointed. Atmosphere was great!

One of my favourite places to go the food is sublime especially breakfast and their sunday roasts. Good selection of wine, local ales and a suntrap of a beer garden and street benches out front. Hidden gem!

Food is great. Atmosphere is great. This pub is really one of a kind. All staff was exceptional. Dany, who was our waitress was amazing and very personable. All in all, great time!

Loved this pub! Dog friendly, delicious food and great selection of local drinks. The staff are the friendliest bunch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves so thank you very much!

House red is awful and at £18 a ripoff, worse than a £3 plonk from the garage. Shame as otherwise it's an ok pub.Edit. I did mention at the time and the barmaid said that no one else has complained about it, and refused to switch or refund. I can now see other comments mentioning that it's poor. Thanks

Great quality food, nice drinks and great service. We popped in unplanned after a morning at the Lower Leas Coastal Park which is a short drive away and had a nice meal. Comfortable and relaxing, welcoming and friendly owner and staff. Thank you for a lovely family lunch!

Genuinely the best breakfast I've had anywhere. Every element of it was such good quality and the service to match. Dog friendly as well. (was too keen to dig in so photo is of an empty plate and a dog who wants more)
