Wow, I was not expecting this gem in the middle of nowhere... What "capriche"The food is so tasteful, they think on the smaller details and we were so well received.Loved and well deserved 5 stars

This only serves to validate how we were treated and spoken to by staff on the day we visited the cafe. My comment on people booking ahead to avoid disappointment is met with a hugely defensive response (including capital letters (?!)) which is completely unnecessary. This is an honest account of what happened to us, and the fact that you embellish what happened is frankly shocking. As a small business, you should not be exempt from recieving criticism if you treat customers badly. Also as a small business you would think that your customers are valued and service is golden. And the fact you have to use the platinum jubilee to mask bad service speaks for itself. Thus after my rather placid initial review, I revise my advise: anyone who may be visiting during a busy period should be prepared to book aheas-and- for rude and abrasive behaviour from staff. For any customers hoping to leave a review- if you dare to honestly share your experience, please also be prepared to receive an extremely defensive and review from the owner.Initial review:I was left really unimpressed,got there 15mins before they open "they said there not open yet " so I did abit of time wasting ,then went back at 10,just to be told there fully booked and there's no spaces left.its a shame really hear lots of good reviews of the place ,maybe book at table so Ur not left disappointed like me

Lovely place to look at but sadly the cakes were dry and needed a drink to get them down. Tea @ £2 , although in a cute pot, teabag (PEPPERMINT TEA) from Aldi which makes it an overpriced drink. Boxes used to display the cakes in had stickers on them showing the date made (07.04.2022); the day we visited (09.04.2022) therefore made the cake 2 days old which explained why it was so dry. When I commented on this one of the staff said the box was reused (unbelievable but if true that makes it very unhygienic!).So sadly my first time visit won't be repeated. Rather go elsewhere!

Cute little coffee lounge with friendly staffs. Went with our dog and had tea and cake. Staff went out of the way and jazzed up chocolate cake and was delicious. Love fact that the cafe was giving out free spent coffee beans for the garden.

Joe and Kirsty are responsible for the greatest breakfasts and friendliest service on the Marsh without a shadow of a doubt.

After hearing from friends about this place...... My sister ordered this afternoon tea package to celebrate my nieces birthday and I have to say that every single thing was absolutely delicious!!Really well presented and packaged....... Everything was freshly made and ingredients were so nice!!Will be using The Coffee Lounge again and again!!

This is a fab little cafe just off the main Road through Dymchurch. Great for coeliacs and vegans too. Food was excellent, freshly cooked and very nicely presented. Service was great, nice cheery staff. Dog friendly. Kirsty has a lovely little place well done and thank you! 😄😄👍
