The Corner Plaice in Shepway

The battery was soggy and tasted like it had been cooked in old oil, the chips were OK, the mushy peas had been watered down more like soup, the fish was nice once all the soggy batter had been peeled off.no vinegar on chips at all even though requested. When we called to explain that we were not over the moon with the order, the staff were rude. I will not be ordering again from here .

Been twice this week staff member was very helpful with putting plenty of salt and vinegar on our chips as we asked for. Very quiet around 2pm but would use again

Had cod and chips , cooked fresh in front of you , fish and chips were excellent, service excellent

I also have had the greasiest wrapping I have ever had in my life ,soggy including the box, carrier bag actually covered in grease ,the chips were hard and some of them were actually not even cut properly (they were circular) ,jumbo sausage and the fish weren't wrapped separately, the business has very much gone down hill QUICKLY i would have to be literally wasting away to eat here again.

Disgusting waste of money! Battered sausage had barely been dipped in batter and the chicken burger was an absolute joke! Will never order from here again. Almost 12 quid for this...

Mushy peas came out like soup, doughnuts were from Asda. The fish was ok and the chips were typical chippy kind. Overall very disappointing.

Good service, fast and friendly. Quality of food is excellent.

Extensive, expensive menu. Chips barely cooked. Have had much better. Parking awful. Passed one on same road on way out with parking and huge queue...

We ordered Large Battered sausages and chips via Uber Eats. Well what can I say. Paper soaked in oil and yes soaked. Then the HORROR of all 3 sausages under cooked!! Did not feel right when cut into it. I'm annoyed and be warned if can happen to us it might happen to you. 🤮🤮

Used this place a lot but tonight it was awful. You could squeeze oil out of chips. Fish was very small in 2 pieces and soggy. Shame because it used to be very good. Will def go somewhere else from now on. My partner had given V good review before but now does not deserve it. Shame.
