The George Inn in Shepway

Went for a meal last Wednesday evening, Michael was very welcoming and friendly. We had drinks by a cosy log fire followed by a delicious meal very impressed.

Great, traditional pub serving a good variety of drinks and the food was exceptional. There is also a really nice walk through the countryside to get to the pub, avoiding the busy main road. The pub is also dog friendly and the owner made us feel very welcome, would definitely recommend

Lovely friendly staff, large garden. Roast was a delight- particularly the pork belly. The cabbage came in a slice, like a cake with caraway seeds- impressive in both taste and appearance. Unique vegetarian options.

Lovely little pub with nice landlord Michael. Me, wife and young daughter came along with dog after long walk. Food was great. Definitely above usual pub standard food; superb quality.

We stopped here with my family on our way from London and the food was absolutely delicious. We all had steak as well as fish and chips and ate it all. Super delicious food and we would definitely recommend it and return when next in the area.
