I got cod and chips from here on Saturday early evening. The fish was cooked beautifully (and had the skin removed without me having to ask 😊), the batter was crispy and the chips weren't too shabby either... And all still very reasonably priced.

Following a long walk on the beach we came here for a nice lunch. I don't see Huss very often in my local fish and chip shops so had a regular Huss and chips, with a couple of drinks and came to a very reasonable price at just over a tenner.Chips were crispy and fresh, not at all oily or greasy. The fish was very nice too and the batter was just right for me. Service was quick too so I didn't wait long to eat.

First try of this fish shop for a period of time due to poor food in the past; however this visit was an improvement. Fish cooked while I waited & was beautiful. Chips could have been hotter. Felt they'd been on the shelf a while, but will try again. Difficult finding parking nearby, but a little walk never hurt anyone now did it.

Stopped here today for fish and chips (for me) and a veggie burger for my husband. I am coeliac so I need gluten free and it was absolutely amazing. We both agreed that they were some of the best chips we’ve had in a long time. Helpful friendly staff too, thank you.

The chips and cod bites were lovely. The curry sauce was brown water. It tasted nice but I had to dip into it because it was so thin. It needs thickening an awful lot. The server must of seen it was like water but served it anyway. Had to leave alot as I couldn't eat it because of the consistency..

Great fish & chip shop. Always freshly cooked food to order! So close to the sea that takeout is the best option as fish and chips on the Kentish coast cannot be beaten! But if its raining or you fancy a sit down there's a quaint restaurant with seating inside.
