I was really disappointed I phone up the mayfly to see if they could accommodate my husbands wake on 21st April 2022 and was told they never opened til 12 o clock but they would open half a hour early for us so was happy but unfortunately we arrived on the morning of my hhusbands wake at the given time to find the mayfly was not open at first it was not a problem until a staff member popped her head out of the window and ask why we was there I continued to explain to her about the phone call I had and she said I'm sorry we was not told about this and they could not open at the time so was really disappointed

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and a great price too. Only thing that was a downside was waiting an hour for food, but they did inform us there would be a delay.

Two out of three meals good. Third missing items and not hot. Service lacked enthusiasm and attention. I understand that this premises is undergoing management changes so will give it one more time.

This particular day was tending a friend's funeral. As I remember the wind was over the top hurricane Forse..the place seems to be run by two ladys. I have seen much better food and service here?thank you?

Amazing Sunday roasts, great desserts and lovely staff. Mel and Claire are extremely helpful and polite, engaged with a good conversation and gave good recommendations on the desserts

We booked a table for 4 people, but we're all large so I requested a larger table. This we got and had a fabulous comfortable meal. Thank you. Food was delicious and the roast dinner was generous.
