The Ship Hotel in Shepway

Visited the ship Hotel twice whilst on holiday, the hotel, the staff,the food was amazing, well done guys

Room was really clean and tidy no problem at all, however I’m 5ft 11 and can hardly move around the single room (even less room in the shower). To add to this the shower pump goes off every 4 hours. Food was excellent but was very pricey considering portion size. Overall, I won’t be coming back here again to stay thank you though staff were really friendly

What a fabulous hotel! Really enjoyed our 1 night stay here. The rooms are just right, everything you need, bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, full English and it did not disappoint. The bar lady, Cara, was amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. She is a diamond. The hotel is beautiful and much bigger than it looks. I would recommend this hotel, its perfect.

We stayed here as we were attending a festival in the area - lovely little hotel above a cosy pub, warm welcome and our room was available at 12pm! Massive comfy bed, clean and stylish rooms. Cooked to order breakfast in the morning which was lovely. Great value for money and if ever this way again will return! Thank you

Excellent food. Staff very friendly. Spitfire Lager on tap. A pub that has retained it's character.

Everything about the stay was lovely, the bar, the food and the rooms. Could not fault a thing. A special mention to Cara who really went the extra mile to make things work for us.

Popped into The Ship for a spot of lunch. Despite its size it remains cosy inside, clean and bright. We only had sandwiches but they were fresh, tasty and filling. They came with a lovely side salad and a cheeky portion of chips, all at a reasonable price. The young lady who served us was welcoming and chatty. We will happily return and recommend.

Got food, no cutlery had to find some or use fingers. No condiments until I complained and then it took 10 minutes. Two staff serving, cleaning and running around. Food was OK small compared to other places locally. We were luck others waited over an hour for food only to find there order lost.

Food and service excellent I had the rack of lamb superb, mushroom gratin okay, English breakfast superb. Room was slightly smaller than my cell at Alcatraz, too much noise from the road, TV not working and toilet machinations going all night. My advice eating great ,stay somewhere else.

Great and friendly welcome and stay on Friday. Evening dinner wonderful and cooked from fresh and great wines and cocktails. Choice on menu great and quality of meat /melt in the mouth lamb and fillet steak and service first rate, rooms clean, warm and comfortable beds /great night sleep overlooking the conservatory. Greasy breakfast choices, freshly brewed coffee and plentiful we will definitely return.
