Cosy rooms, lovely and new.Great pub, welcoming staff. You hear the pub into the evening but this is to be expected for a small venue right in the harbour.A perfect location and would stay again in a flash!

Fantastic night last night, excellent food and staff. We were a large group and the staff took great care of us. Good quality food, reasonable priced. Cannot recommend enough.

Lovely pub, staff were so welcoming, beer was great and character of the pub very traditional. If you’re lucky enough to get a table at the front, great views too

A lovely Harbour side pub with lots of nooks and crannies and a suitable nautical feel. Nice tables by windows at front to watch world go by. Probably best sit down fish n chips in town but rest of menu ok at best. Unfortunately plastic glasses given if you wish to use the table out front, yuk. Worth bringing your own tanker

Lovely little pub only criticism would be could do bigger coffees and the screw used as a knob on the ladies bathroom. Did make me chuckle though. Service is with a smile, and polite' seating is safe and clean, and even with the makeshift toilet lock, the toilets were clean and didn't smell.

Lovely welcoming pub on the harbour side. Friendly service team, excellent condition cask beers including Doom Bar and London Pride. Fantastic fish & chips, great value, very tasty and served with a smile 😊

Great fish and chips! The fish was so moist, fresh and tasty. Also the chips were exactly the kind of type I personally love- crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Brilliant location for dining outside overlooking the harbour and amazing view. The staff very very strict in terms of the covid rules - so I felt very safe and looked after well. The staff was unnecessarily harsh with some customers though who I felt very sorry for; however, luckily personally I received excellent service. The food arrived really fast - friendly and efficient. I had to take one star down though because the coffee was really bad - tasted like really cheap instant coffee and being charged a coffeeshop price for it is not acceptable, nor was I told in advance that it's instant. Unfortunately one of the worst coffees I've had out. The meal also missed the advertised mushy peas. I think my score would be lower if I had to dine inside (not really my kind of place) but luckily due to covid restrictions only outside was allowed. I'd be definitely back foe food though, but only if there's tables available outside .
