The Tiger Inn in Shepway

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Tiger Inn today! Our first visit since 2017 and we love the revamp. Excellent service from Max and the rest of the team, delicious food and the Tiger Reviver cocktail tasted amazing. We'll definitely be back soon!

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. My whole family was very pleased with both the service and the interior and, of course, the highest class of cuisine - I would say the food is worthy of a Michelin star!

Gorgeous pork chop with fondant potato, squash puree and purple sprouting. Overall excellent. Only disappointment was that decaf coffee not available.

Can not fault this place at all! From making the booking over the phone..to the lad greeting us and showing us to our table and the lovely girl who served us! The food was absolutely delicious..the place was so warm and comfy - I even loved the toilet area.. and the service was excellent! 100% going back to The Tiger Inn! Thank you for making Mother’s Day so lovely for my Mum and the little rose was such a nice touch!

Walking into The Tiger Inn is like entering a well established tavern back in the 1700's on a stormy night, the decoration is dark but warm and inviting, Friendly, casual and cozy chat from over tables.The staff here are of a very good standard. We were informed of who would be looking after us and introduced themselves very well.The food here is wonderful tasteful and presented to a high standard, the Crispy Squid from the winter menu was very very tasty!When in the area I will be coming back - If tips were like coupons I'd give them all away here, you really feel looked after, is there such thing as Michelin pub.

We were here last week for dinner with the family and had a great experience. The servers were wonderful and attentive. All of the food was delicious and we were able to snag a last minute table for 10 people which was very impressive. Great experience. Would come back.

Well worth those 5*. From the friendly welcome we received, relaxing and comfortable seating area. Very attentive waiting staff that was ever so amiable, chatty and came across very happy, contented members of staff. We did not feel pressured into ordering our meals. Each course totally blowing us away with taste and presentation. Complements to their chief, the meal was worth every penny. Will be travelling the 40 miles again real soon to enjoy more of their menu. Highly recommend.

We've previously visited this pub but only during summer for drinks, so we were looking forward to eating there. It didn't disappoint at all, the staff were brilliant - polite, helpful and a good sense of humour! The food was the best I've eaten in a pub, couldn't fault it. I had the corn fed chicken breast & my husband had the rump steak. Thank you for a wonderful evening & we'll most certainly be back.

What a great meal my wife and I had. It’s very busy so worth booking in advance. the pub (definitely more restaurant than pub) is very cosy with a real buzz. The staff are friendly and efficient. We both had courgette fritters to start which were delicious. My wife had see bass and I had lamb. Everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty. There’s a good selection of wines and beers.
