Whenever we are down in Kent always try to call in. Staff are always friendly and their is always something new to see in the eclectic choice of decor. The food is amazing, on our most recent visit we managed to book in to one of the Fire and Smoke nights and did not regret it! Would definitely recommend.

Awesome quirky decor, such a contrast from the surroundings. Good food and drinks, always toasty warm inside. Friendly staff and a less friendly hawk. (Yes really)

I want to live here! Also excellent cocktails (absinthe & candyfloss, what more could you want)?!

We came here today and very much enjoyed the food and quirkiness of the place. What let it down for us was being offered a mini portion of the adults menu for our daughter but still being charged the full adult price. I feel quite strongly that we were mislead. Either offer the same sized meal for the same price or reduce the price to go with the reduction in size of the meal. For this reason we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend the place to friends with children. Transparency is key guys!

Excellent pub! Beautiful surroundings and a very friendly welcome. I can honestly say this was the most amazing pub we have been to with artwork and curios at every turn. A pleasure to meet with Ross and his family who hosted a fantastic evening of entertainment with Thee Scarecrows playing and moonshine flowing. Will definitely be going back!
