We had a lovely time here. The manager was very kind and helpful. The hotel was quiet and well located, just a few minutes away from the beach and restaurants. Room was spacious and we loved the bath. The garden is very cute too if you want to eat outside.Thank you to the kind lady who cooked us breakfast every morning. Nice options for vegetarians as well.

I’m just not sure about this place. I don’t want to deter other travellers but do keep in mind that it’s obviously not the nicest place to stay at. After seeing 4 in a bed I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I wasn’t too impressed. They say they are top notch travellers staying in multiple locations. I just wonder what locations have they’d stayed at that makes them think this is a top notch place
. Anyway
check it out for your self, but I definitely won’t be staying here again.

AWFUL! Do not stay here. The amount of dust caused my unborn child to cough. Couldn’t even ask him if he was okay as my email wouldn’t send on their WiFi.The room wasn’t big enough to swing our cat in, although he was dead by the time the breakfast arrived. If you want an insight into this hotel and the owners, watch 4 in a bed. Cruel to other contestants, cheating and lying hosts. If that’s how ‘honest’ they are on national television, imagine how ‘honest’ they’ll be to you as guests.

Absolutely horrific. So I firstly had problems trying to book a room in this establishment considering the phone line continuously rang out. I finally managed to book a room through tripadvisor although I’ll soon realise, I really wish I hadn’t. The hotel itself seemed generally clean until I entered my room, firstly, there was a horrid stench of sewage wafting through the place, I thought I was gonna be sick! Trying to put up with the smell me and my partner started unpacking only to discover what looked like a dead rat on the bathroom floor. Instantly we packed right back up, reported it to management only to get rude and snide remarks back. They didn’t believe us even after we had literally shown them a photo!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Never again

Never stayed and never would , I cannot believe the game you two played on 4 in a bed, it was shameful. I've stayed in Folkestone and hated it and genuinely though that your property looked wonderful and would give it a go but only if you weren't in charge of it.Also the meet and greet and gifts were so false.

Tuesday 22nd February I arranged for a "Winter Warmer" lunch for Egerton Over 60s to take place in Earls restaurant at Wards hotel for 40 Members. We went there 2 years ago for the same type of event which was thoroughly enjoyed but sadly Covid19 arrived and closed things down for a couple of years. However, I spoke with the manager Dill to ask if it could be arranged again and he, along with the chef who was there in 2020, produced a brilliant 3 course menu for the occasion. It was more than we could ever have hoped for, just like our own little banquet at an excellent price. I have been asked by all 40 Members to say a big thank you and to tell you and especially the chef it was magnificent and we will see you again in December if not before. I can honestly say it is the first time in 8 years of arranging these events I have not had one complaint of any description, only praise, well done everyone and thank you all.Regards from Gerry, Angela & all of Egerton Over 60s.

After seeing these underhand cheats poor conduct on four in a bed I wouldn't stay at this hotel even if they stated free rooms. Even after reading their reviews doesn’t say much for the so called owner who worked around the world at top hotels knowing how to to deliver a top service needs retraining

Absolutely filthy room, dust everywhere causing me to have a sneezing fit, my face began to swell and I ended up in A&E ! When I returned to collect my bags I could not send an email as the WI-FI connection was so poor. Not worth a tenth of the cost.

Sunday carvery provides a good choice of meats. Beef, pork and turkey were on offer with all the trimmings and good veg choice. The starters and sweets are optional extras. Staff are attentive too. The starters and mains were enough for us just before Christmas.
