Golden Cross in Slough

After a busy day at Lego land we wanted somewhere with quality proper food and the golden cross didn’t disappoint! Service was Amazing all order vi app and the food was the best pub food I’ve had for a long time! Will definitely return again! Massive thanks from the couple with the sleep child in the booth! *****

Great food in a very traditional pub (which is run by some lovely people). Good vegetarian selection as well if that floats your boat; there also a nice walk from the car park if folks have been in the car for too long.

Walked in with some mates traveling abroad, staying at Hilton Heathrow and this place slammed! Great service, excellent food, and wonderful atmosphere!Really upped our experience of the Heathrow area.So much better than the food at at the Hilton (duh) but far more reasonable, better flavor, and better brew is a win win. Highly recommended

Short walk from Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5 hotel, what a great place, so friendly, the food is a joy and the staff set it up perfect, get some soul at the golden cross.

Golden Cross is a cosy and very classy place. Apart of fantastic service we enjoyed the best roast we’ve ever eaten in the whole U.K. Sadly this place does not get the recognition it deserves. It’s a friendly atmosphere, all staff are nice and very polite. The owner very attentive to small details. This place feels like home. Highly recommend. Worth a drive from Hertfordshire.

We had a lovely meal and the staff are great, especially Emma who was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue as with many places now Vegans seen to rule the day!! I am a vegetarian because I do not like meat or fish, so sadly menu’s are very limited. Halloumi seems to be most popular along with goats cheese!! To all you adventurous cooks there are far more choices!! Please take us vegetarians into consideration as well!!

Very inviting and lovely friendly atmosphere. Decor was beautiful, newly refurbished after a fire, very uniquely done. Service was excellent and the meat feast pizza was delicious, as was the glass of red wine with it! Would definitely recommend.
