Monihar Tandoori in Slough

We usually have a lovely meal from Monihar, but this evening was very poor. The poppadoms were clearly old and cooked in stale oil, the mint sauce was old and congealed and we recieved lamb instead of chicken. Very disappointing, especially as it's the first curry of the year.

Rude and very unprofessional their behaviour is a joke.The food is dumped where ever their like even though u requested them to do the same as every other professional food establishment does. Only to be told lies etc.I will be grateful if their could treat us with a bit of respect or like a valued customer. Their disappointed me time and time again. I had to give a star just to put up the comment or I would have minus 5 stars

I ordered yesterday qeema naan and 2 naan when i received my order after 2 hours the naan was cold like made before 2 hours and the qeema naan was like raw qeema inside the naan🤮. Their service is totally bad. Its my first experience with them I never ordered again from them.

One of worst customer service received over the phone , I ordered food using Uber eats after waiting for 1hour plus I called the restaurant and the person who claims to be the manager named Illai was very rude and used a very rude tone and used words like if you want I can cancel the order, the only thing I was asking him is , if he can confirm the order has left ….it’s a shame that been a manager he did not understand the situation and infact ended up losing a customerI hope no one ends with this kind of service

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I am currently self isolating because I have COVID and they refused to deliver my food to my door because I quote "I don't want to get a car fine to deliver your food" when there are parking available. I rang the restaurant and only to be ridiculed and asked if a family member can pick up my food downstairs outside my actual flat. I live in a big building, i am following the government guidelines to stay in my flat to stop the spread and they want me to go outside and put my neighbours at risk because they cannot be bothered to find parking.I asked them if I can get a refund, they said they have made the food and delivered it.Disgusting.

I was order foods today manihar tandoori. I got order half an hour ago . Delivery on time . I order half tandoori chicken, it was too dry and salty. I order plain rice, it was too hard . It’s not cooked properly and reheated long time. Cannot eat , throw to bin . I also order lamb chops that was perfectly cooked, tender . So only that I ate . So very disappointed.

One of the best, if not the best indian takeaways in the slough area. OMG each dish I ordered was phenomenal, takes just like back home. 5 stars and a thumbs up from me. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking to satisfy your indian takeaway cravings. My regards and respect to the owners and chefs, made my evening 😊. Reminds me of my grandfathers and grandmother's cooking.

So disappointed with this place. My dad has been ordering from here for years , he always has the same thing so he knows how much it is each time (obviously taking into consideration the normal price increases)The last few years he has always ordered online via their main website. Tonight he went to order and it stated min order now £12 which is fine if that’s gone up so he added a bottle of Diet Coke at £2.20 to bump it up. Website stopped working so it wouldn’t let him order online so he called through instead . Order arrived and receipt said “Diet Coke £2.95) so I called up to ask why the price difference compared to online. The man I spoke to was so rude , all I got told was “because that’s the price init” , he wouldn’t let me speak , talking over me telling me how busy he is, telling me to come and get my 70p difference (which that wasnt my purpose) He then put the phone down on me , so I called back he put the phone down on me again and a third time. Forth time I called back I got a much calmer person, however they still couldn’t explain to me the price difference apart from “it could be the VAT” !!! It’s very sad as my dad has been a regular customer and due to the rudeness and the dishonesty of this restaurant they have lost custom and we will be telling everyone who we know that orders here the same for the sake of £70p, I appreciate the world we live in is tough financially but times must be tough for them to add on secret prices at their discretion. In current climates im all for supporting local businesses but at the same time these businesses need to act fairly, and look after their regular loyal customers something unfortunately Monihar Burnham isn’t doing(I didn’t want to give 1 star but to post I had to give at least 1 star)

Food was good. Delivery was really long. But we did order at 1830hrs on a Saturday evening - I expect everywhere is extremely busy at this time. One of the dishes was wrong. However, as the rest was tasty we were not bothered.. My favourite dish was the chilli paneer main. This was more like a main curry dish rather than other places that do it as a starter. I will order this again. The bhindi dish was really tasty. Daal was great. Didn’t like the vegetable masala. It was coconut too much. Garlic naan not great. Peshwari naan was good.

Have never had a bad meal.from here...in fact never hand anything that was even close to dodgy.Well worth the money and the service is fantastic.Friendly staff...excellent delivery....EVERY TIME
