Awesome pub, awesome landlord, awesome patrons! Proper pub with a proper atmosphere!

Being from Ireland and working in Slough we decided to visit,What a pleasant surprise.😁The landlord enjoyed our company just as much as one of the lads and himself knew a lot of people back home and were making connections.Yes as others have said, there was nations league football on tv and free bar food was available.But I enjoyed seeing the landlord follow us out as we left as he enjoyed our company so much. We will return.

I have visited the Herschel arms on 4-5 occasions and I can say without a doubt it is THE most welcoming place I have ever been in.It’s a quirky pub which is clearly loved by locals and visitors alike. Popular with the visiting trades people staying away from home for the week.I love seeing the walls adorned with pictures of past and present visitors to the pub. A visit to the loo is great to look at the old paper cuttings and comics.The landlord is without a doubt the pubs crowning glory. His staff are fabulous and it is THE best pint of Guiness (or10) I have ever tasted. Well done Tom and his team. We will be back soon

No food menu, so unverified hygiene.Good seating area and garden, but not so good tables and chairs. Cheerful hosts, but came across rude when I asked for food menu (they served some complimentary snacks. So he asked me " was that not enough? I do not serve food. If you want food, go to some restaurant."). Later they served 4 pizzas for £25.Also, one of their customer gotten drunk enough to puke in the urinal.You may have good luck with them, but it would depend on luck. I went there as it was highly recommended by friends. It could be just my experience.

Had a stay in slough for a few days and went to this lovely pub. Nice selection of beer and great staff.

As always, the Hershall Arms was a friendly, cheerful pub and Tom, the landlord is a fantastic friendly and generous host. Always visit when in Slough. The best pub in Slough!!
