The Ostrich Inn in Slough

We decided to visit the Ostrich Inn on bank holiday Monday. It was a lovely sunny day and we hadn't visited since 1998. After sitting on the M25 for 40 minutes we finally arrived. Upon arrival we stood at an empty bar with no staff to be seen . After waiting for approximately 10 minutes we left the pub and rejoined the traffic on the M25.

Lovely little place, staff very friendly. Had the beef burger was nicely season, could really taste the black pepper. Spot on. Didn't stay there so can't comment on the rooms, stars based on food and service

Lovely historic pub but very rude and unfriendly staff. I have been here a few times just to give them another chance but I was met with the same rude lack of customer service on every occasion. I won’t be returning again which is such a shame as it is a beautiful pub and very local.

Beautiful! First class food, wine, service & ambience. Special mention for Haley who went beyond the call of duty to show us around & Sienna who explained the history. Look forward to a return visit! Thank you.

Great staff, friendly and efficient. Very clean and cosy inside. Had nibbles this time but have eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed. Good prices too 👍 😊

A gorgeous grade 1 listed pub, restaurant, b&b that hasn't lost the feel of a local. Big comfy chairs and eclectic use of furnishings makes this a treat to pop in to.

Rude negligent staff, unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful. If your someone who appreciates good customer services don’t waste your time here. I ask for a drink at the bar and I was greeted with a sigh, no social skills whatsoever!!!!!

Lovely food, great service, easy parking. Also offers rooms but I haven't stayed there. Amazing burgers!! Loved the lasagna.

Came for lunch today, a group of 8 of us for a colleagues 50th birthday. The staff couldn't have been better. Very attentive, extremely helpful and very friendly. Thank you for everything. Food was gorgeous, and the card from the staff was a lovely personal touch! We will be back soon I am sure.

An old inn style pub and guest house, the Ostrich Inn is a wonderful traditional pub with a nice restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and dining experience. The food was lovely with a good selection of vegetarian items to choose from, and we look forward to visiting again.
