Afternoon Tea at Grovefield House in South Bucks

Very reasonable accommodation for the cost nice room. Reception staff were pleasant. The young man running the room for breakfast (Saturday 2nd April) I thought was a real asset to you as a business excellent service.My only criticism of the accomodation was a minor detail yet not something I'd have expected... The toilet roll in the room must be the cheapest thing I've ever seen barely single ply a premier Inn room which I could have had for half the price wouldn't have had it. I think even my school wouldn't have had such cheap stuff. Customers notice these small details...

Lovely location and service but could do with an update on the rooms.

We arrived to find four cars in the car park, restaurant and kitchen closed... The guy on reception was doing front of house and running the bar.Excellent customer service in these tough covid times.Comfy stay!

Lovely event, but if you go for a Christmas meal, don't eat the sprouts!

Lovely countryside setting. Rooms are comfortable and clean .Make sure you book a room with a garden view . Disappointed that due to Covid-19 , no dining facilites. Only bagged breakfast available. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free car parking

From the moment we check in the staff were fabulous, Bali could not do enough to make our stay special. The rooms were airy and comfortable. Great breakfast.

Absolutely terrible afternoon tea. Do not book! The service was awful, the tea itself was basic. The sandwiches and cakes were mediocre. Vegetarian mixed with salmon. I cannot express my disappointment. I did let the staff know and the feedback fell on deaf ears.

Great value for money. A beautiful and clean room overlooking the large and peaceful garden. As we sat in the garden with our drinks we saw many pheasants and deer! It was just what we needed after a long day at Thorpe Park. Ben was so friendly and accommodating, we'll be back for sure.Thanks Joe and Natalia

Beautiful afternoon tea! Sandwiches are made to order, so you actually get a choice of what you'd like! Scones were warm and freshly baked, and delicious, and the mini cakes were also fantastic...one of the best millionaire shortbreads that I've had!! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and COVID measures were also very well implemented so everyone felt safe!

Excellent afternoon tea. Staff were brilliant, very polite and attentive. Setting is great with huge tables and the food was lovely- got to pick the sandwich fillings ourselves and they were all tasty. Scones and cakes were really nice, plus more than enough cream and jam to share. Highly recommend - look out for offers online, we bought a voucher from Red Letter days and it worked out much cheaper.
