Bertram's Cafe in South Bucks

Lovely staff and the food is delicious, you can tellIt’s all freshly made on the day. Was lovely to sit in the sun too!

A lovely inexpensive cafe, the staff are lovely and the food is fresh and cooked nicely. It's part of Smith's Garden Centre and is my local, so we go there quite often, cheap and cheerful. On a nice day there's outdoor seats to enjoy a view of the sheds and statues!

Today was an unusual experience at this cafe, I think because they were just about to close, but the cake selection was disappointing and the kitchen was closed.Normally however it's a 4 or 5 star place. Lovely cake and a nice selection of hot food and sarnies.

My second time there, and not an experience I would like to repeat.!!Being very hungry I ordered the jacket potatoes, which arrived cold, and like old leather in texture in fact impossible to cut. Almost like it had been microed many times over.My complaints weren't taken seriously, and I left not at all satisfied. Wasn't offered anything.

This is a nice place to get a drink the staff were really helpful with helping with my son. I didn't feel there was much choice in food and it was pretty average for the price also our food was bought out separately with sometime in-between. If they could make a few changes with the staff they have this could become a great place to relax.

Used to be lovely about 2 years ago but so much has changed in so little time. Staff utterly useless and rude. Breakfast no longer being sold all day. No longer have a drinks fridge, no longer have any drinks for that matter. Half the things on the menu not available. Seating has changed now so that you give them a table no. and you go back to you table and someone has taken it and then the staff can't find you because of their incompetence.

Service was ok, lady behind the counter was nice, My friend had a salmon and cream cheese sandwich which was very roughly made, the cream cheese was literally plonked in the middle of the bread, and it was falling apart, really unimpressed especially for the price, I asked for a " half heat" latte as I had had a tooth out and it was still really hot, although the guy did offer to put cold milk in it for me, but I just waited for it to cool down, I had a cream tea but had to cut it into tiny pieces, it was ok, just average, nothing to shout about, I can't say I'd recommend it sadly, or go back, which is a shame as it was quite busy, so I'd like to think it was just a bad day!

Nice cafe which is a part of Smith's Garden Centre. Has a range of sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes, and other hot meals. I had sausage egg beans chips, very nice.

Excellent cafe/restaurant at Smiths Garden Centre. Serving light snacks or lunch type dishes. Good value and so popular. Inside and outside covered seating available.
