This is my second visit here. Out of all the local Chef and Brewer pubs, this is my favourite. The service is 1st class and the food is always cooked really well. There is a beer garden for drinks or dining alfresco. The pub is clean and well kept. Good size car park with plenty of space. Can get busy on the weekend. Update: went again tonight with a friend and had the same brilliant service and had a really delicious Ceaser salad.

Opposite entrance to Cliveden so makes a nice place to visit after a national trust walk. Menu has great choice and on a Sunday there are a variety of roasts. We opted for supreme pork with extra gravy. Service was slow but they were very busy which is a good sign post pandemic. Staff friendly and we will visit again.

Went for lunch and was really nice but does get very busy at weekends. Food was good Nd good variety at the bar. Would like to have seen some local beers, if they had them I didn't see them

Really cosy friendly Pub. Decor is very welcoming and staff very friendly. I also like that they have kept a part of the pub for those who just want a pint by the fire. Food is also vey good and service is excellent.

Pushed the boat out and went for the Venison Medallions; they say a picture is worth 1000 words. ... jokes aside the food here usually pretty good, just not on this occasion.

Despite having run out of beer, draught cider, mushrooms, pancetta, kale & panna cotta, the restaurant hadn't got their food delivery for the evening until nearly 6pm, they were short staffed, the manager had to work on his day off & then the gas oil ran out, they were still able to provide tasty food & excellent service, in very good humour... and didn't cry once (not in front of us anyway)! The excellent customer service we were provided with in the face of such adversity is commendable.

Lovely food and brilliant service as always! Even though they were very busy we didn't wait too long for our food, and when it arrived it was yummy! We were looked after - the staff are so smiley and can't do enough for you.
