Jampee Thai Restaurant in South Bucks

26 Jan 2022: I had the chicken Panang curry for lunch and requested for milder 🌶. The taste was spot on and it came with a generous helping of vegetables and protein. It’s a big serving – for me, at least – so leftovers make for a quick dinner fix. Service was attentive.17 Jul 2022: Had the green curry on the second visit and it was tasty and had a good consistency. The egg fried rice is just that, passable.

Sorry but this was really disappointing. No tofu in the Pad Thai as per the menu, no peanuts and bland with over cooked beans and 1 piece brocoli, mostly carrot and Noodle. Not worth over £9. Calamari was ok but stringy as if not prepared properly. Not much chicken in the chicken dish. Purses are tight so this impacts where you want to spend your money.

Lovely Thai restaurant! I went with a friend and we both enjoyed it. I'd recommend the salt & pepper squid as a starter, we were both pleasantly surprised by it. Service is also good and quick.

Pleasant enough without being outstanding. We had a set menu. Added a sea bass dish which was below average. Starters were really good as was the sticky rice

Our favourite Thai. Food can take a while sometimes, though. Both dining in and take away. Definitely make a reservation; we have rarely got a table just by turning up.

We ordered a takeaway for the first time this evening.The food we had was very tasty. There was no disputing that.The major downside was the portion size and cost. We had 2 starters, 2 mains and a portion of chips, coming in at over £40. £3.50 for a handful of chips is ridiculous. The stir fry looked like half a portion, it didn’t get close to filling the takeaway tub.Over £4 to deliver 2 miles down the road after spending £40 is a bit of an insult as well. Wouldn’t order again for a takeaway, would possibly go to the restaurant based on taste alone.

Very tasty food, somehow pricey (almost double than Beefeater). Great reservation system. Kind staff.No offstreet parking. A bit cold inside, turning up the heat would've been nice. Recommending: Set menu A, Green curry, meat platter.To improve: The prawn veggie mix sauce was a bit too salty.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Buckinghamshire!!! The ambience is great and food is very tasty. Special set meals are worth for money as it contain small portions of starters along with main meals . The cocktails tasted amazing as well. The staff members are polite and friendly .Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely love to go to this Thai restaurant again!!!

The food was so tasty and fresh! Really lovely selection of food on the A La Carte menu and also have a lunch menu with some good deals too! The staff were super friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience, will 100% go back!!!

We have always loved Thai food, and we like Jampee since the first visit. I was very impressed by their Thai ice tea, the ice was not just normal ice but was frozen ice tea! We have ordered take away a couple times as well. Today it was me and my husband’s wedding anniversary, but with the lock down we couldn’t really go out to celebrate. We were very grateful to see Jampee still opened for (non contact) delivery and they have done a great job to make our day very special. Super yummy food (really like the soft shell crab tempura and their Pad Thai) and really good service from everybody. Can’t wait to have a proper visit again after the quarantine!
