Luna Rossa in South Bucks

Gorgeous authentic Italian restaurant with fabulous food, beautiful decor, wonderful service and great pricing. Loved it!

We were there for Father’s Day and apart from the wine the food was very ordinary. There was no garlic bread and no bacon to go with the liver which was very dry and tasteless. The salad was old . And not fresh.From this experience we would not recommend the place . The staff were very nice .

Real Italian taste! I had been at Luna rossa on saturday night, the restaurant was super busy but with my gf we didn’t wait a long time to have a nice garlic pizza bread as a starter and than I had an amazing cod wrapped on pancetta and my partner had a good pasta amatriciana ( good taste and perfect cook “al dente like real Italian style)We ll be back very soon

Nice Italian pizzas. Probably some more vegan/ vegetarian options would be nice to have.

We went for lunch recently to Luna Rossa. Highly recommend the restaurant!!! They offer true authentic Italian food that satisfies all your tastes buds. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is is quick. Will definitely be visiting with the family again.

I have been coming here for years, always good.Were here on Tuesday evening with family; I had a pasta with seafood, my partner had a fritto misto both very good.Chef was obviously on top form and service was very friendly as always.We definitely recommend.

Wasn’t really sure what to rate this place as I had a bitter sweet experience.Went with some friends to experience a nice local Italian as the place always looks so busy. Prebooked our table. As we arrived there were barely any serving staff. We were made to wait 10 mins at the door standing awkwardly even though our table was ready?All tables were TOO close together and were not at all socially distanced which was not very comfortable, to the limit where we could barely get into our seats due to tables behind us both sides (you need to rethink table structure).There was a big round table we could’ve been seated on instead but we were told it was reserved (no one showed up all evening).The waiter was quite rude and rushed every step of our dining experience. He honestly just made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed like we should just leave.For starter we ordered was a sharer cheese board between us and we were shocked when it arrived to see how tiny it was for £16.50 and only 2 small slices of bread and barely 6 small slices of cheese with it between 3 of us? so disappointed with that. We had to ask for more bread and the waiter was like “more? Are you sure?”… YES otherwise we wouldn’t be asking!Food took ages to arrive overall, we were rushed by the waiter but then the food was delayed?Mains were delicious, pheasant and black truffle tortellini was exquisite. Good portions, great flavours and nice presentation.Desserts were just not nice, tasted very store-bought and not worth the money unless you’re getting a Tiramisu (which they ran out of).Overall, would I go back there again? No. Would I recommend it? Probably not. Better Italian restaurants out there to explore.

Great food. Everything we ordered was to out satisfaction. Friendly staff. The service was a little slow but keeping in view that most places are still finding their way back to normal levels of operations, it won't be fair to penalize .
