Didn't stop for too long but staff very friendly. Very much enjoyed the beetroot falafel. I sat inside for some peace and quiet but the large garden outside looked good. They also seem to have a kitchen garden on site for some salad bits.

Lovely pub, with a great garden and good food.We have visited this pub a number of times of a summer drink as they have an excellent selection of beers (London Pride on tap, what could be better!?). On this occasion we also decided to stop of some food, as it has tempted us many times before. When the food came out it was well presented and good sized portions. All of our meals were enjoyed and it is evident that an effort is made to produce high quality, great tasting good.On this occasion I have withheld a five star review as we felt slightly neglected by the service. Staff were quick to take our food and drink orders, however once we received our food we were not offered any condiments, non were any check-backs done on our table. Whilst certainly not a deal breaker these are the small details that help to enhance a visit. All in all, this is a pub I would recommend people visit and I look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu!

The menu needs some changes, always sounds sophisticated but is dissapointing when receiving the order. Every time we came we tried something different from the menu and we tried it all now, so talking from experience.Must be the only restaurant in the world that doesn't include the sauce with the steak and the charge is separate £2.50. I used to work in hospitality for 11 years, never heard such thing. You better increase the price and include it in the menu, seriously. There are better options around (price vs quality and variety) and you will loose customers.Given 3 stars only for the staff.

Large dining pub with plenty of tables inside and covered seating outside .Visited with adult children and grandchildren. Good specials and family meal choices. Quality was above the standard chain type pub although prices reflected the quality such as £16 for a burger and fries ( but both were exceptionally good). Metze starter was good and plenty for 3 or 4.

I went here for my 1 year anniversary. Lovely big car park. The staff were all really nice and friendly. I had a burger with the fries swapped for salad and my partner had the pork belly. The burger was really good and the salad was fresh with pomegranate in which I've never had before in a salad. My partner had a good portion of pork which was nice and soft. Really enjoyed our evening here and would definitely come back. Make sure to book!!

Went here for the first time as they are dog friendly restaurant. The place is lovely! Not only that the staff are very friendly, accommodating , and vey helpful. Food was glorious and really good. Service was very efficient . Everything in Akemann Inn was superb. Our dog had a great time, too. It is a nice place to chill. Highly recommended. Will be coming back, definitely!

The perfect stop after Bicester Village. I don’t usually have a lot of expectations for vegetarian/vegan options. Unfortunately they were out of the no beef burger but their halloumi portobello burger was amazing (not to mention the fries that are to die for). Good service/staff. Would come back to try the pizza.

Wow! The food, the service and the atmosphere are so outstanding. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We had pizzas, pasta and fish & chips and they all tasted really great, plus the portions were a good size. Would really recommend a visit here. Marisa, Georgia and Michael all served us and were a delight!

My son and I were going north on the A41 when we saw this delightful looking pub and we decided to call in on our way back south after a visit to Warwick and we were both pleased with the decision we made.We ordered the mussels as starters followed by the boneless chicken breast and both meals were excellent. The mussels were particularly good and the white wine sauce was probably the best I have tried in years. The chicken was succulent and flavoured really well. To compliment the meal, we washed it down with a glass of wine and soft drink. The building is lovely and well appointed. The garden looks fab although its autumn now and thanks to Covid they have erected a huge awning for outside seating. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I must also say that the pub was warm and inviting. Congratulation to the head chef Tom and his team. Likewise, our waitress Georgia was really nice and checked on us throughout our visit. Now, the nitty-gritty. Was it value for money? Certainly was and to be honest, the next time we go north along the A41 we shall certainly be stopping for lunch.Don't pass-by this place. Stop, relax and enjoy.

This place is excellent in every single way. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Not to mention, the flood is excellent, especially the roast pork belly! So soft and succulent! Would have been nice if there is an option to order bigger portion 🙂! Highly recommended.
