Pizza Express in South Bucks

Lovely restaurant in Beaconsfield Old Town. Excellent service, friendly staff and the food choice was really good. Everything cooked fresh and was delicious. Highly recommended.

Worst experience I’ve had in a Pizza express.Manger kept foundling around and left 1 waiter to do all the work. To top it off she gets the order wrong so we only had 1 main between 2 people, which was not exactly hot.Whilst being promised the 2nd main will be done within 5 mins. We waited a further 15 mins, and still hadn’t received the order. In the end we had no choice but to leave, we had finished all our food. Was pointless to wait for the 2nd main, which still wasn’t ready.This is the 2nd time we’ve had a poor experience in this branch. So disappointing for a established brand. Defo will not be going there again !

Nice food, friendly and helpful staff. A bit odd that the baby change facilities were upstairs and regular ones downstairs though. Although probably done as foot fall for baby change is less it is harder to get upstairs with baby/toddler.

Friendly, attentive (but not too much) serving staff. Unknown to us the area where we parked was going to be closed by the police at 2pm. She help us by having the pizza served ASAP. Food was good, hot filling.

Booked a table but still stood at the entrance for 5 mins to be seated. Staff didn't even acknowledge us. Sat under noisy speaker and had to wait for almost an hour before our food arrived. Pizza dry at edge but undercooked in the middle. Have eaten at PE for over 30 yrs. THIS WAS THE WORST PE MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD!!

As a vegetarian, pizza is an easy one to eat. My partner is vegan and their options for her are goodOnly problem is the cost of drinks. I think near £7 for a large Peroni beer and wine likewise is super expensive.However the pizzas are excellent as is the coffee so we still go there!

Terrible service, ordered pasta for takeaway and they provided us with no forks so we had to go back and were refused forks due to them ‘not having any’ because it’s a pizza place, even though they serve pasta. Completely ridiculous & on top of that provided metal top bottles which we couldn’t open unless we had a bottle opener. Id I worked there I would give my customer a metal fork because a happy customer is more important than a cheap fork.

Find it is a bit hit and miss, last visit was great, but had to return a pizza as the dough was still raw underneath, this was sorted by the lovely staff.More recent visit- very busy, we waited over 30 mins for food and there were a lot of take away orders going out so it felt like the kitchen had too many orders and hence the delay for us in the restaurant. Food was not as good and I think the oil for the fryer needed to be changed sorry!
