Had a great time service was excellent. The meal was good value I would definitely recommend

The food was good and the service from the table staff was generally good however we were very disappointed to be told at around 9:40 that we couldn't have tea or coffee because the manager didn't know we were still there and had started a cleaning cycle on the machine. This rather spoiled what was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day meal!

Nice birthday dinner with friends. Staff always smiles and polite. Good drinks and share plater for two.Serving time was perfect! I had gammon, and was a bit fatty. Overal good evening.

First time visiting The Royal Oak with my family. The experience was lovely, greeted by front of house team of Oli and Nayel whom were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Will definitely spread the good work about The Royal Oak. Well done guys keep up the fantastic work. See you all soon Mike

Have lived in Slough for 34 years, driven past here numerous times, never been in until tonight....I was thoroughly pleased, food was good, husband happy with his San Miguel and staff were lovely xxThanks for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back 😊

We had a wonderful meal here, five adults and two children. A wide choice from the menu and service was good but a bit slow, as it became very busy after we arrived.

We absolutely love the atmosphere here - the warmth, the layout and most importantly, the service, by Oli and Danni. They make us feel at home, and cater to all our needs, as vegetarians. The food is always lovely.... proper pub food! The only thing I would change personally is the fact that the Vege Lasagna is on the menu, but they haven't had it in the restuarant for months now. Other than that, we love it!

We went with our son for a end of primary school treat, the whole place was amazing, warm friendly welcome we arrived 20 minutes early for our pre booked table however the staff didn't mind and took us to sit in a lovely clean well laid out area. Social distancing was fab not at one point did we feel nervous in these risky times. Good variety on the menu and the food was delicious, hot and fresh. The kitchen team had provided is with an amazing array of food. Even our quite fussy son enjoyed every part of his meal from the young guest menu. We tried some new items we have never had before and we pleasantly surprised. The staff were around but not hovering over you all the time so you could really relax and eat but also be in a position to request anything if you wish. The value surprised us was extremely good value for such fresh flavours and food. Thankyou to everyone for being so wonderful. We can't wait to return.

A nice looking pub with friendly staff. At first £17 seemed a bit expensive for a mixed grill but to be honest, the food was such good quality I thought it was worth it. The beer was nice and cold, served with a smile and the food was excellent.

Went for Sunday lunch with the family. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were there and there was plenty of outdoor seating (see photo). The food was reasonable, no roasted root veg but there was a gluten free Yorkshire pudding, and others enjoyed their slow roasted beef.
