The Sheesh has been our Indian restaurant of choice for close to 40 years. Family run, great food and always a friendly welcome. I highly recommend it.

Why can't we give negative stars? If there was a choice I would have given them all.After reading soo many good reviews, we ordered butter chicken as 1 of the main course dish. If you ever want to try a horrific butter chicken with coconut oil instead of butter please I highly recommend this place. But for me it was disgustinggggggg. I was expecting a good food and service as the reviews are very good and so are their prices. When we called them to ask if there is any mistake because butter chicken is not supposed to be cooked in coconut oil, they said we can't do anything and they shut the phone down.Total waste

On this occasion unfortunately I was really dissapointed. Tasteless curry, black one side burnt naan bread, grease dripping off onion baji and pakora. Delivered so couldn't send back. When I spoke to the Manager he told me to go and ask my neighbour as they think it's nice? Great response.

Lovely family run restaurant! Been coming here for years and getting take away and the food and service is always fantastic! Highly recommend for eat in or delivery!

Loved the food when we visited service was a bit sketchy but then again, it was busy. Might come back when im in the area. Definitelity recommend the mix grill platter.

I was advised to visit this restaurant by a friend and was not disappointed.....Excellent service!! Food was fantastic!! I asked for a variation of a dish on their menu and they accommodated with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. The over all experience was great and I will be returning.

Went there last night and oh my word!!!!! I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant ever. I felt intimidated and so small. Like i was a piece of gum under a shoe. I had just taken maybe my last bite on my plate he was hovering grabbed our plates so quickly off the table then proceeded to take the table cloth off the table didnt offer us a dessert or coffee. I asked politely why are you doing this while we still seated i could still want more, he said he doesn't care he can't help me and then started shouting at us. Left and will NEVER EVER GO BACK. THE LAMB WAS TOUGH AS OLD BOOTS

I'm hesitant to even give even one star after the experience we had, was made to feel unwanted and they rushed everything, felt like we had outstayd our welcome.As the changed the table cloth before we had even settle the bill . Rude as hell with no common curtancy, needs the lean customer relation importance . Won't be going back.

Fairly standard UK curry house. Nice room with plain decoration. Large menu with some unfamiliar items, but all is explained in the menu and by the attentive staff.Service was a bit mediocre when we visited. Very slow to take order, and too quick to constantly top-up our glasses and suggest more.Food was very nice when it came, portions quite large, and pretty good value for money.
