Fish and chips good. Large chips is massive. Opens on Mondays.. others closed.

Thursday 6th Jan 2022 evening2 x fish n chips .. 1 portion ok, the other was VERY BAD and my very elderly father in 90's was violently sick all night with food poisoning. The fish was bad and the chips so fat saturated as to be floppy and inedible.Thankfully he only ate a tiny bit of the fish before noticing something was off but that was enough to sicken him badly all night until 5am.Thankfully he was strong enough to survive that !

We popped in for a quick snack and got charged £4.40 for a medium chips and mayo. The small sachet of sauce cost 90p. The chips tasted okay but not nice enough to stop me feeling robbed. Overpriced, and the staff need to read a book on customer service, a smile wouldn’t hurt. Overall an okay experience for a not so okay price.

It is illegal to refuse Scottish notes, they are legal sterling currency in this country. Manager very rude, I took a photo and he came out and told me not to come back again.He informed me it is the owner that has refused the currency, in this day and age surprised to find discrimination.They should be ashamed of themselves, I'll be interested in what they have to say.

So I worked for this guy and he refused to pay me what he owned, and then start threatening me calling me names, and now have treated me that his gonna find where I am and bring don't know who to see me, plus said he was going to donate the money he owend me for charity, this guy needs a lesson

A simple order for two but there were 2 mistakes so not the eating experience I was hoping for. Also meant I paid for more than I got.

Hi we had cod & chips tonight 6.5.21 the fish was nice but the chips were very dry and earthy tasting, didn't eat many, not sure if they were frozen or not maybe a better quality potato is needed.🤔

The size of food is really good you can share a med chips between 2 and have leftovers they was very tasty to.

Read some reviews of this chip shop saying it was overpriced.The meal I just had did cost more than I expected but dishing it up at home I realized the portions were quite big so a bit of an error on my part for ordering too much. Next time I'll get it right and that'll bring the price down a bit.Cod, cheeseburger and chips were all good quality and tasty. The 12 minute wait in the shop because the fish was cooked fresh is perfectly acceptable.Well done, will definitely use again...Update on Smiles in Beaconsfield. During covid19 lockdown, click & collect fish & chips now available! Thank you, simple, safe & tasty. 10/10.
