The Chip Shop Co. in South Bucks

AVOID AVOID!!! Got to be the worst chippy I’ve been into in a long time. Couldn’t here what the guy was saying as the tv was playing music that loud in there. He thumbled around for 5min before eventually deciding to put my sausage and batter in the fryer. Which i wouldn’t even class it as a battered sausage. Chips are barely cooked and most are hard. If i could give if zero stars i would. Its not often i review somewhere but this had to be done. Especially after reading so many other reviews about the chips etc.

Never got our order. Order was confirmed, and then we were rung 45 minutes later to be told that they’d all chicken had finished (at half 8 at night), but we could have pizza instead. My milk intolerance precludes that, no apology was forthcoming, I got the feeling from the guy this was a normal occurrence (probably done to save money) and due to poor management. That and he didn’t care about making it right. Waste of time. Has put a dampener on our evening. Won’t be ordering from them again, especially now I’ve read some of the reviews here. Mould in a pie? Ewwww!

Absolutely disgusting. Pies must have been left overnight, one even had mould on the inside. Chips were okay, curry sauce was the best thing about the meal. Won't be going back!!

Service simply awful. 40 minutes for our food to be prepared. Staff standing around on mobile phones.Once the food was received, once again simply awful. Totally inedible. I will never be going back and that state of the shop explains it all. Stay away!

Absolutely disgusting service, delivered a completely different order and when contacted to let them know they were not interested and accused me of lying.Do Not Order from this restaurant!(Couldn’t give the zero star review they deserve)

Always been dodgy chips hard and flavorless! The fish was nice when it first opened but gone downhill after a while maybe buying cheaper stock! Never buy the halomi wrap its deep fried not grilled!! Nice pink pigeon thats always sits outside everyday is proberbly the only attraction that draws people in dont see alot of customers in there as I live in the flat above! X

Very dirty chip shop stay away lots of flies in the shop looks dirty I don't see anyone wearing gloves. The chips taste old!! The curry sauce is a joke more like curry water!! Sort it out how can u do kebabs and pizza and you cant even do the chip shop part!!

The best chip shop know under new management there’s only one guy there he makes the best fish it’s so crunchy and the butter is so nice I never tried before you must try to believe I travel over 5miles just for the fish.They have introduced a new menue with pizza kebabs pizza is buy one get one free prices are the best the quality is very good he also makes the best pizzaExcellent customer service can’t fault the place always be back thank you Russell for excellent pizza you made me thank you keep it up

best chippy i've ever been to, would highly recommend to everyone and anyone. the cod is made and served fresh every time and it's the most delicious cod you'll ever have, the chips are chunky, crispy on the outside but Fluffy on the inside which is rare to find these days. the prices are fantastic considering such large portions (family chips are £5 and will feed 5 people, easily). cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!!

Fish and chips are ok, gone down hill a little since it first opened. Been there on lunch a couple of times and the chips have been dodgy. Seems like old oil? Anyways... £18.90 for 2 x fish and chips seems way over priced. Shame really.
