"The Emperor pub dates back about 300 years, it was first known as “The Brickmakers Arms”, this changed to “The King of Prussia” at the end of the 19th century. During world war one it was changed to “The Emperor of India” and is believed to be the only inn with this name in the United Kingdom. At the beginning of the century, it was shortened to “The Emperor”. Known in the area for it’s a beautiful garden, this walker-friendly pub is minutes from the scenic Burnham Beeches. We are a “well behaved dog” friendly pub with space in the bar area and gardens. We also have a heated gazebo for those not so warm days. At the Emperor we welcome you to bring your friends to our cosy pub just for a few drinks or to dine. We have a heated patio area."

We would like to thank all the staff at the emporer for doing a fantastic wake for my mum Barbara Reynolds food buffet and the whole experience was warm friendly kind and service was first class. This is on behalf of all mum's friends and family. Most importantly my dad Jim Reynolds. We all would highly recommend

Lovely pub within walking distance of Burnham beaches "ancient woodland".They have a small menu with some of the best pub classics.I had a lovely sausages and mash and my wife had a great fully loaded nachos.In the winter they light 3 fire places and it's a really cosy atmosphere.

Went to the today for lunch the food was fantastic the pub is done up really lovely and the garden is so nice . The staff were really friendly and the Waitress who served us was very attentive and polite . Im going back again full marks folks keep up the great work !!!

Absolutely fantastic staff. My friends 25th Anniversary was stunning and the staff really helped to make that happen. Great place for a party!
