Pleasant enough, good beer. Has improved since my last visit but that was 40 odd years ago before they got rid of the dartboard. Still no dartboard 😀

Helpful staff provided good service, and we experienced a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Initially thought some of the dishes on the menu were a bit pricey, but the food was very good so can't complain. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for'. Will definitely go again.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.Whilst the food looked good, unfortunately not all of the dishes were flavoursome: my cod and chorizo fishcake for example was more potato with only a very faint taste of chorizo. The ribs were very good though and overall, the price was quite reasonable.

Five years since our previous visits! The food welcome and staff, are as outstanding as ever our previous experiences. A friendly locally populated pub, who provide everything that you could desire. Who could ever ask for more.

Went for Sunday roast which was lovely, well cooked, well presented and full of taste. Service was good too and the team were friendly. The only negative is I was asked to leave my payment card with them as we were sitting outside. While I appreciate they might have had previous with people not paying their bills, other people that arrived and ordered food outside didn't appear to have been asked to do the same. While I'm not sure why we were asked to do so over others, a person shouldn't be asked to leave their payment card out of sight. I should have raised it at the time and didn't which I'll take responsibility for, and just hope my card hasn't been cloned! I do plan on going back though as other than that it was really good.

Lovely village pub, warm welcome, accomodating, great food

Really good quality food - you can tell it is all freshly prepared on-site and the portions were huge! Genuinely the best battered cod I've ever had!Staff were very friendly and lots of seating choice.
