The food here was good but still being served as takeaway in dsposable cups etc. Two tables with chairs at edge of pavement both being showered with bits from the lime trees overhead. Real shame nit being open for dine in. Extra for cold milk for coffee and for brown sauce not even branded sachets. Will not visit again. 01/07/2022

Despite covid restrictions being lifted.....this 'tea shop' is still not letting you through it's door! Sadly choosing to offer tea, cakesetc. outside in disposal cups,bowls,wooden/plastic cutlery! No pleasure in visiting! Not to mention more 'rubbish' for 'landfill'!! Bring back china crockery & teapots! More traditional!

Delicious sausage and bacon baps in homemade sourdough baps, accompanied by a lovely expresso and hot chocolate! Perfect for a Saturday morning next to the farmers market. We will be back

The soups are delicious. Nice ambiance and service is done by very friendly staff. Warm & inviting tea/coffe shop.

Just had breakfast here & really disappointing! Ordered toast. Was asked if I wanted white or brown. I said brown & I got white. Why ask then? Toast was cold & butter was hard as rock. Coffee absolutely terrible! Won’t be back again!

Lot of potential but a let down. Ordered eggs and bacon and 2 plates of pancakes. That was £32 with tea. That's steep for breakfast. Wanted to share a pot of tea but was told its priced for 1. Ok, fair. Our 4 yo wanted a sip of tea but I had a cold so asked for a fresh cup. Was told I will have to order separate drink for her. Husband wanted a smashed avocado but was told its £2 extra for half an avocado. All in all it was disappointing!!

Slow service. Not very generous portions considering the price. Shame as the potential is greater. They were turning away customers through lack of space, so should speed up and get more people through the doors. Maybe the increased volume of sales would then mean they could spare more than half a teaspoon of chutney on each jacket potato. Also, why only fried eggs? I asked if scrambled might be possible and got a flat "no" from the unsmiling teenage waiting staff.

This a special place. Clearly a local favourite. The homemade scones are to some of the best. The meat pie was incredible. Friendly staff.
