The Red Lion in South Bucks

Great food in lovely surroundings, my son's family moved to the Amersham area at the weekend so tried this pub as the roast choices looked yummy!Thoroughly recommend the Red Lion the food was so good we all made room for their yummy puddings.We will be back!

Don’t know where to start. From the moment wearrived we knew we were in for a treat. The pub was packed creating a fantastic atmosphere which you rarely see in pubs these days. We chose to go for the traditional Sunday roast which was stunning. Melt in the mouth pork belly with crunchy crackling lots of fresh veg and the best yorkie I’ve had for a long time. The pub is set in a beautiful location. It’s heart warming to see a “proper pub” doing so well. Kudos to the owners as they have got it right 👍 Don’t miss this one you’ll love it :)

The Red Lion is a lovely place to go to! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub is well decorated and very stylish. The food was delicious and tasty and the portions were great too! The wait was quite long but it was definitely worth it! I would definitely go back for lunch/ dinner.

Wild flowers, butterflies and chickens in the sunny garden. Idyllic. The hospitality and food are superb too. Beat avocado salad I’ve ever had. What a relaxing and nourishing way to spend a Saturday afternoon with loved ones. Highly recommend.

Lovely village pub, beautiful setting, amazing food, and really welcoming and attentive staff. Dog friendly, and really accommodating. Will definitely be back

Found this little gem by accident. Best food and service we've had in a while. Certainly recommend anyone try this place. The staff were great too and their recommendations were spot on. We'll be back.

We were in the area and popped in for some lunch, just found it on Google and decided to try it. What a lovely find! Such a lovely place, so friendly. Food was beautifully presented and all freshly made. I had the Goats Cheese and Red onion Tart (one of the nicest I've ever had) it was just delicious, and my partner had the pie of the day.We were having such a lovely time we even stayed for dessert, I would absolutely recommend! Thanks so much for a lovely afternoon Red Lion.

Been here several times...fantastic for either an evening out for drinks or food or a Sunday roast with the kids. They are very patient with the multiple requests to get the kids comfortable. Service is fast and personal and the food is delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
