Great pub, brilliant staff and fantastic owner. Was at soul night last night, great music and atmosphere!

A great village pub with excellent "pub food".

After being let down without warning by the Harvester The Stag in wexham were very accommodating and managed to fit all 14 of us in for dinner. The food and staff were lovely especially Julie 👍I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends. They saved the day for us as we were celebrating my late father's birthday.

Great service and friendly staff. Food was great. Will be coming back soon.

2 under cooked roast potatoes a slice of dry beef n burnt frozen Yorkshire puddings not even aunt Bessie a pile of cheese n cauliflower with a few PEAS n carrots and drowned in a what tasted like tinned stewing steak sauce . Could not eat or pay for it we told them sorry but it looks n tastes horrible rather have a carvery the bar staff was fine with it and gave us the drinks free .

This place didn't deserve a star if I could give a review without a start I would,I mean the roast dinner on Sunday for£13.50i would expect a decent dinner but no I was supposed to have a roast beef rib eye dinner with all the trimming but I was presented with beef that looked like it was from a packet under cooked potatoes only 2(btw) Yorkshire pudding that where store bought and swimming in a jues from a packet with way to many Italian herbs it was awful we had to ask for a refund we could not eat it my wife was distraught we could not find a table serving lunch anywhere as we where tway to late for the lunch what a waste of an afternoon.

Absolutely amazing roast dinner! The sharing starter was lovely and such a good price. Can't wait to come back and all the staff are so attentive and polite

I just stopped by for an early dinner, fish and chips and a nice cold red wine. Safely and pleasantly served by very attentive staff. The social distancing was effective and a lot less intrusive than in some places. Good car parking and a nice garden make this a very pleasant bar restaurant. Not too pricey either.
