"We are delighted that since opening our doors in November 2017, the Yew Tree is, once again, becoming a social hub for the village and the surrounding community – and we’re thrilled. Our goal has always been to create a local hub where our guests are offered great food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Having said that we love it when we are ‘discovered’ by out of towners, locals from Marlow and Henley and beyond. Our bar is dog friendly, if it is cold our fire will be lit and if it’s warm, our lovely garden comes into its own. We hope to see you at the Yew Tree very soon."

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch time roast today!!! Because we couldn’t decide which one to get, we opted for the triple roast sharing platter and it really didn’t disappoint. Well cooked, flavoursome and plenty to share. We would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to go back

Spent the evening celebrating a late Christmas office do and retirement. Food was excellent, very tastefully presented. Delicious. Staff were very hospitable indeed.

Boyfriend and I came in yesterday for lunch after a walk. Food was delicious. The two young boys running the food service and bar couldn’t have done more for us or been more attentive and polite. Roaring fire in the grate. Surrounded by beautiful Chilterns countryside. Perfect spot to dive in after a hike/ for weekend lunch.

What a lovely, welcoming pub with friendly staff. Booked a table last minute for a family of 9 including 3 children which they accommodated. Food was delicious and service exceptional. One little one was unfortunately sick all over the floor and the staff were more than happy to help clean and ensure everyone was happy during their meal. Thank you so much- and sorry again! Definitely recommend

Unfortunately was exceptionally disappointed with the food. My roast pork was dry as you like, another roast beef the meat was OK but vegetables were rock hard. The chicken skewers were cold and had to be sent back to be heated up.Was a birthday treat so we sent food back to be heated up but couldn't complain as heavily as I'd like.The waitress and waiter were great and so was the beer, hence why not the 1 star.

Just seen a previous post from someone complaining about the fact staff members and customers were still wearing masks. A lot of our staff are still quite young and have not received their jabs so please see below quote and be a bit more respectful.Face masks are not mandatory but manners are. Please be respectful of others and their choices.Excellent country pub and the staff are excellent too.

Lovely pub with welcoming and helpful staff. It was cold so we sat inside, although the outside area would be great in warmer weather. Would recommend ordering food here too as they have solid options and seasonal specials. Highly recommended.
