Bay of Bengal in South Oxfordshire

This restaurant is advertising itself as 2 for 1 on the meerkat app.Just called to book a table and they said they do not do meerkat but we can ‘come in and they’ll sort us out’. No. Stop advertising on there if you’re not offering it. Wasting peoples time.

The staff are very friendly. The food is generally quite good, with some dishes that are very good. The tarka dahl can be a bit spotty as to whether it atually tastes of garlic or not. The Chot Poti is a brilliant new discovery. We tried to access the restaurant for the first time by foot this week. They have a ramp for a wheelchair, but the wheelchair has to climb some bricks to get to the ramp - not great. We navigated this and found that the wheelchair didn't fit through the narrow door. I discussed this with the staff and they said "bad luck" - not very impressed with this response. Indeed there's nothing that can be done, but some acknowledgement of the problem would have been preferable.

Waited nearly 2 hours for my takeaway when the website said 55 minutes. When I called to see where it was, they said it would be another 20 minutes and when I asked if I can get any money off or the delivery charge refunded they hung up on me. The food tasted good but it arrived cold.

Very attentive staff and tasty food. Everything was very clean and fresh (including the facilities).

It was a brilliant evening. Excellent curry and very well presented. I would recommend it and go again.

Used this restaurant for over 4 years about 20-30 times and now never again. If you get it wrong you should sort it out.Got our order wrong then said we would 'sort next time' awful service for ok food. Should have been refunded for the wrong dish!!!Plenty of good curries in the area. Duo chef chinnor is brilliant.

The food menu is absolutely amazing? Usually I have something to complain about. But not here. Food was absolutely perfect. Full of flavour and plenty of it!!!

Excellent service. Food was lovely. All people enjoyed much as the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend :)

Nice tasty food but staff could be a little more enthusiastic as the atmosphere lacked a little.
