The boat House is in an idyllic situation on the river, and the views from outside are great. However, the outside allows smoking at all tables, and if you do not find this appetising while you eat, you have to sit inside, which is very hot in mid July 2022.The website says they have parking, but they dont, and the suggested car park is fine for small cars but is hopeless if you have a larger car, as at least 1/3 of the spaces prohibit large cars, and these are the empty ones. The staff are friendly, but we had errors on our bill that were hard to sort out.

Great value... Good fast service.. friendly, helpful management.Good food on a budget. And great views of the river and bridge.I am not a fan of sports bars (which this is) but the outside seating area is great.Like the app 😀

Nice riverside pub, can get busy as the weekends, long stay car park in walking distance, has good wheelchair access....

Had a booking but we were not expected we scouted around the place and found our own table with the name. Ordering the food and drink was simple enough ordering at the bar as app was down. Food was edible.Enjoyed the view of the river on this wonderful sunny evening.

A beautiful setting for a relaxing afternoon lunch.A good selection on the menu - including vegetarian - at reasonable prices. Our visit this time was a little overshadowed by the 35 minute + wait for food to arrive - but it was an unexpectedly sunny, warm afternoon, and there simply wasn't enough staff to go round. However, I would gladly eat here again.

Lovely setting right on Riverside. Food good although very pub grub menu. Fairly good value for money. Good range of beers. Dog friendly (water and biscuits). Spoilt (for us) by 3 large TVs in the main eating area although volume was low and background music also playing.

This is very friendly and welcoming pub, the manager is helpful and can't do enough for you, they even bring water for your dogs. It has certainly seen a massive improvement since the new management has taken over. In the summer it's the perfect setting by the river to spend a lazy afternoon.

Amazing food. Particularly the chicken tacos and buffalo cauliflower wings. Service was great. Dogs welcome. Really nice people running it. Very homely, came yesterday and liked it so much I came back again today.

We have popped in for a quick bite on our journey back home as it did attract our attention.Very popular place amongst locals and travelers, so be prepared it will be very busy.Nice selection of food and drinks.Very strict covid rules.Toilets are inside of the building and are open for public to use and very clean. All staff are very polite, helpful and very attentive to your needs. We were told that food waiting time would be around 45 minutes, which we agreed to and and it was spot on, so no complaints there!Beautiful river near by with lots of boats on, which you can rent too!Absolute picturesque place and would recommend to any one who wants to enjoy their meal or drinks in very relaxing atmosphere. The car park just across the bridge on another side from there.
