Excellent local restaurant, good service and great food!

Terrible food. Pad Thai wasn't pad Thai. Incredibly slow service. Takeaway was ready for collection 50mins after pre agreed time.

·

Very busy so take away took Ages to cook! 😖 but tasted good as always 😋

Chef King is a fairly typical Chines takeaway. Good but nothing epic. I go there fairly regularly and have never had issues. The did have a restaurant part but that is shut now and it is just a takeaway.

·

Quite bland. The Tom yum soup was nothing like a Tom yum soup, which is always a risk in a Chinese takeaway but even the Chinese dishes lacked taste. The portions are not that big and it is overpriced given the quality. Disappointing.

·

Disappointing. We were served crispy wonton that had no filling of any kind, it was deep fried wonton wrappers and nothing else. Service was pretty good natured but I'm not even sure there was a chef in the kitchen. And prices cannot be described as low at £30 per head for a very mediocre meal.

Just been a family of 6 . All the Food arrived at different times. 1 course came out frozen 're cooked but late.Last 2 courses of our party still waiting 35 mins later after we all finished. No apology other than won't charge service charge.Main courses were being 're heated in microwave , which we could see in kitchen.Offered to pay £20 for the £31 bill (one couples)Owner Wasn't happy . I explained he can't expect me to pay full price for frozen food, slow service and over all poor experienceHaste to add the other 4 people paid full price. Won't be returning

Good food, excellent service, pretty tables, clean, and wide variety. We ate chicken with chili and basil, chicken with spring onions and ginger, fried rice and spring rolls. There were 8 or so types offried rice and even more types of noodles. £7-8 per "Mains." There were lots of customers for take away orders while we were there.

Possibly one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had. My Singapore noodles were very bland with poor quality ingredients. Worst of all were the honey and lemon spare ribs which were honestly rank and unfit for human consumption.. As I found out later. Very unwell. Im glad I chose to throw away most of them upon tasting. Im not really one for leaving reviews but I felt I should in this case as my experience was just so poor. Sorry if this is someone's favourite local.. To add insult to injury this was actually my return to this particuluar restaurant as I have had previous bad experiences. Complimentary prawn crackers were stale and tasteless.

Absolutely vile. 3 times they said my card was ‘declined’ but the machine said ‘connection lost’ which I saw and when I pointed it out it ‘miraculously’ worked. Then when I had the drama of getting home late because of their lies/and or/incompetence, after I was home, the order was wrong. Completely wrong. The staff in this place just don’t care about anything. Lazy, idle and terrible! Just don’t get food from here ever, EVER!
