Cherry Tree Inn in South Oxfordshire

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Gorgeous pub, well appointed rooms and the full English breakfast was exceptional. Stayed two nights while visiting friends nearby, will definitely be back.

The new management have put their heart and soul into renovations of this pub and it shows. Friendly staff, great family set up. Animals, tractors and gardens for the children. Dog friendly and bike facilities. Great food. Am excellent country pub

Fantastic place, really welcoming staff/team, first class service and truly lovely food. The marquee is so cleverly arranged, snug and comfortable. Brilliant experience, thank you all. Huge thanks to Dawn for looking after us so well. ;-)

The food was delicious, I would rather have my veg cooked a little longer it was rather too aldente for my liking, but otherwise excellent. Staff and everyone else were very friendly and took my message re crackling which I thought tasted more like quavers on board. The place was warm and friendly and a lovely room with a large gas fire which looked so real to a coal fire was lovely and cosy. Will definitely go back again.

Nice atmosphere, great pot of tea! We went on a Sunday evening so not seeking food, though they did have some (slightly pricey) cakes on offer which looked tempting.

Met up with some friends for lunch. Was impressed by the menu and jumped at the pan fried calves liver as one doesn't often see it. I was very impressed. It was perfectly pan fried (an art in itself) and came on a bed of silver skin onions, bacon bits with wild mushrooms capers and raisins and some delicate crispy onion rings on the side - delicious!!

Lovely pub. Very friendly staff with great food that seemed reasonable in price. Not the biggest car park though. I can imagine it is great in the summer.

Food was decent, quite expensive for what it is but nice enough. Huge downer for me is that the loos absolutely stink of wee.. they really need a deep clean! Unfortunately we were sat at a table near the toilets which wasn't very pleasant.

Loved our couple of days staying here. Room was great, full of character, modern bathroom, big comfy bed. Everything you need. Plus a great country pub, roaring fire, beams, atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and best of all, wonderful food. Well done to the hosts. 5 stars well earned.👍
