The cappuccino was too milky for me. But as was at the Chocolate Cafe, am guessing the team are used to making their signature milky hot chocolate. Lovely views over the river and don't let this review put you off.

Really lovely hot chocolate and a nice family friendly vibe

Lovely cafe with delicious food. My husband I always come here with our daughter when we visit Henley, we love the cheese and cucumber triangle sandwiches with hot chocolate and white hot chocolate.

We went for afternoon tea (for my birthday). The staff were friendly and the food presentation was great. Definitely we will go again

Awesome cafe with great scenery, expensive £7 for an egg and bacon roll but very much enjoyed it. Hard to beat, its a choice between price or quality.

Fantastic range of breakfasts, each constructed from top quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. Can't recommend the White and Dark Parfait (marbled mousse cake) enough, simply beyond words.£1 duck food is a hit with the kids too - What a brilliant idea.

Dirty, tatty and unwelcoming. Loo had no light, overflowing litter bin and full sani-bin. Cafe floor was dirty and scattered with dog treats and tables were not cleaned. Notices were stuck up with sellotape. Cakes were lovely looking but we didn't eat any as we didn't think the cafe was clean enough- we even had to request a clean cup for our tea, as one had tea stains on it. With 5 front of house staff, surely one could have swept the floor and cleaned the tables. Don't think we'll be returning any time soon.

Lovely coffee, generous piece of rocky road and welcoming staff. Plus outdoor seating the river. What's not to like. We will be back.

Day trip to Henley-on-Thames on a beautiful cold sunny day! We stopped by (I've been many times before, post long runs) to order takeaway drinks for our walk by the Thames. Once the staff found out it was my other halves birthday, he gave us a delicious brownie & we purchased two equally tasty flapjacks to have on our walk. The coffee and tea was delicious 😋 but it was the customer service which was second to none that really made our day even more special. I can't recommend the Chocolate Cafe highly enough 🤗🤗

11 of us, 6 adults 5 noisy kids burst through the door unannounced and before we said anything they were placing tables and chairs together for us. The food was excellent and they dealt with all different enquiries easily and happily. The cakes and deserts were to die for and the cafe was lovely decorated with items from local artists etc all around. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend it.
