Food was pretty good, nice sizzling platters from the tandoor. Oddly though, at 8.30pm, we were the only people in there, so atmosphere was lacking.

Lovely meal here tonight ! Great food , fantastic staff really enjoyed our meal . Gurkha beer is brilliant too.

We went to Everest for a New Year's Eve curry for 6, whilst OK it wasn't anything above average. We haven't tried takeaway from here, which I imagine is probably fine, but there are many better options nearby on Cowley Road or in central Oxford.The portions were about average for a standard issue British-Indian curry house. The food wasn't anything to write home about.The curries were hot and properly cooked, but the flavours were just OK. The sides and bread were a bit disappointing. The wine wasn't great, and the beers were your standard options (Cobra etc).The service was OK, if a little disappointing considering there were only 3 tables occupied. Our menus weren't taken, festive Christmas crackers were appreciated but then the rubbish wasn't cleared away, and our wine glasses were filled to the brim when the waiter opened a new bottle, meaning there was only about 1 glass per person per bottle.

Delicious food at mildly a premium price. Regardless of this I still come here often as I love the food. The staff are also very polite!

Excellent! Lots of noise from the room on the other side of the bar but to be honest it created some atmosphere when we went there early before there was anyone else there. Food was outstanding, will definitely go again.

During my years in Oxford I have eaten more takeaways from Everest than anywhere else. The food is consistently good, really tasty dishes that are always delivered in good time. Honestly cannot remember a single time I was disappointed with the food. Highly recommended!

Always great quality food, delivered hot and very quickly. Fantastic value, never feels like I'm taking a hit to my wallet for a decent meal. Everything tastes extremely fresh and always I feel like I've eaten well after ordering from here.A good selection of menu items, with plenty of new things to try for both meat eaters and veggies, and some classics as well.100% recommend, you're probably missing out

They didn't gave us Meerkat 2for1 offer, but the very friendly staff tried to help us, end up getting the 2for1 deal in just main (currys). Currys were sour but the staff was very nice

The owner of the BnB that we stayed at recommended this place. The gentleman who took our order, Mr. Tilak, received us really well. My wife and I, being Indian, found it very suitable to our palate and like the food very much. Ordered chicken, egg fried rice and veg rice. Very tasty. Recommended by #SollyDj
