Fox and Hounds in South Oxfordshire

Second visit, the previous being in August last year. We hadn't booked & were lucky to get a table outside, while the sun was shining. Food was ok. Staff seemed to be rushed off their feet. So, much the same view as last time.

Really beautiful setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Managed my allergies with no issues. Food was delicious and very fresh. High price end for us as a family, but well worth it for a special treat.

Great reasonably priced food and very good service in a lovely traditional setting. Dogs welcome which was perfect after a lovely hike in the Chilterns. Definitely recommend

Lovely pub, great food, the three of us plus one labrador came away very happy. Ollie the lab was especially happy as he was given much love and treats from the owner. Lovely time was had by all.

About my tenth visit over the past couple of years. A fine pub with an interesting menu and friendly staff. It was a pleasure to be able to eat outside today, too. Looking forward to another meal there soon

Very pleasant pub in Christmas Common village. Fairly short menu of food & beers. Service very good, kitchen a little slow.

Great beer, friendly service great traditional pub food. It's perched at the Christmas common area near some very nice autumnal walks. We had a table near the fireplace. Only thing I Sydney like was ketchup in those little annoying sachets. I do t like the waste created.

Loved this pub it was well worth walk. Loved the food and the vibe the staff were great and a very friendly landlord. If you go on the right day you never know who you might bump into 🎸 🤟🏻🙌🏻
