James Figg in South Oxfordshire

Not been here for a while, last time was I here was in the marquee during Covid.Came here for a quiet drink and catch-up with a friend, good beer and friendly service. Atmosphere was good although some of the customers at the bar were getting louder as they drank, which made it harder to have a conversation. Over £6 a pint, London prices in Thame?

My favourite pub. Now I'm a dad I can't be out all the hours as much. Figgs do a great food selection to keep my daughter happy, allowing me a nice bit of day drinking with super friendly staff. Great food for me too if I have one too many and need to soak it up.

Best burgers in Thame. The rest of the menu is limited but what you'd expect and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit on a Tuesday, by one get one half price on burgers 😊

Nice comfortable pub, found the history of Jane's Figg on Wikipedia- interesting. Drinks did seem expensive though - £15 for a large wine and a pint of Tiny Rebel.

Great food. Nice selection of beers. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Lovely and warm - fire, & atmosphere. We enjoy visiting, when we spend a few days in Wheatley.

Nice hoppy beer. Warm atmosphere. Friendly! Didn't eat on this occasion.

One of my two favourite pubs in Thame. The staff are friendly, there is always a good selection of beers and ales on, food is good (if you want it) and you can’t beat a log burning stove on a cold January evening 😁

Beer Hop Kitty was tremendous. Beef lunch my friend had on table 8 was absolutely appalling. It was cold tasteless and worth a fiver at most. I will go for real ale but never again eat there.

Great venue for a staff Christmas bash and group celebration meals, pub is very long and has lots of space to both sides of the middle porch and at the back, past the car at the front. Very tasty food with decent portions, fantastic friendly and prompt service, recommended. Very much enjoyed a copious 3 course Christmas Dinner mid-week this mid-December
