Kolkata in South Oxfordshire

Really Good meal last night with my partner Helen. Owner Ali, made a suggestion on the right rice for my dish and was spot on, and even brought us out Onion Bhajis on the house. Great service, tasty food, thoughtful intervention and nice Wine.

This is in our opinion the best Indian restaurant in Didcot. Takeaway delivery is always spot on and the food is consistently excellent. Visiting the restaurant is a treat too, Ali and the team are very welcoming and especially good with kids so our kids love it there too

Having had many excellent takeaways from Kolkata we recently decided to eat in. We were not disappointed! The food as always was superb and Ali was very welcoming and always available to answer questions and give a welcome suggestion or two. Highly recommended

Having visited other Indian restaurants in Didcot, Kolkata is by far the best I have eaten in.It was very busy and we were informed that there would be a long wait for the food, but we sat it out and weren't disappointed.We both had the mixed starter which was very good, my friend then had chicken madras and I had the Kolkata Signature, which was probably the best dish I've been served in an Indian, it really was that good.So looking forward to returning on our next "curry night"Well done guys!!!!

My family visited for the first time on Friday and were really impressed with the food and service.The staff asked if we’d been before and went out of their way to make our evening that bit more special.The food was outstanding especially the naan bread according to my son!!We will certainly be back soon.

The food was superb. I've been there when some people who never tried Indian food before and they were impressed. The staff is very friendly and attentive.I recommend the vindaloo. It is hot, but too much to cover the flavor.

Amazing food! The signature dish was plenty for 2 people and all of the food was really fresh and super tasty. The service from Ali was also great. Would highly recommend!

Visiting from overseas, we decided to pick our Monday night restaurant based on the online reviews and we were not disappointed. Fresh, tasty food in this very well presented restaurant which has a cheerful ambience. Ali was very welcoming and his service was great. Strongly recommend visiting for an all round enjoyable dining experience. A great place to blow away those Covid blues!

Bloody Fantastic - there was a lot a choice so I said you decide and they gave me a lovely dish. Hot towords the end!Also, Ali is a top bloke :D

Dined in tonight for my sisters birthday, welcome and service was wonderful, Ali runs a very nice restaurant. The food was delicious and arrived in good time. There is something for everyone on the menu and all of our party were very happy with the food. I recommend very highly for dining in and takeaway.
