When I was student here this was a pub! Popped in and had my first ever Nandos (I'm in my 50s). It was amazing such fresh ingredients well prepared.

The best choice for the chicken lovers. The starters are great especially hummus. For the main dishes, I prefer chicken butterfly and half chicken grilled šŸ˜‹.They served a nice mango juice.

Our first time there. Food was really nice. Not just the chicken, which would be hard to mess up, but the sides were good. But, the ordering process was a bit clunky. We were asked to order and pay on the web which took longer than the food to arrive. Not a very intuitive website, and very easy to wipe your order halfway through. Manager was friendly, serving staff a bit 'rushed' (surly?). Sauce bottles had to be wiped as they were sticky (note to staff šŸ¤”) Would use Nando's again though.

The small things you guys do, raised the bar for me. I enjoyed every bit of my stay. Fantastic staff, quick to sort out kids who fear chilli... Very memorable experience. Can't complain.

Pop in on route to see granddaughter perform at Pegasus theatre. First time visiting Nando's that was not at motorway services. A lot less busy than motorway unit. Quite, efficient and effective. I enjoyed.

Absolutely pleasant experience.Fotie (the lady at the pay point) was extremely helpful. There was a pretty difficult customer before me and she handled it like a pro.I placed an online order for collection and everything was great. Food was ready on time, everything I ordered was inside and food tasted amazing.Tastes exactly like Nando’s in South Africa and it’s Halaal. Will definitely go back!

Ordered food to take away and waited in seating area.25 mins later wondering where my order was it had been put in a cupboard and nobody had thought to let me know it was ready so went coldAlso halloumi sticks were missing the chilli jam and my chicken was burnt

Wings were so burnt all I could taste was the burn. After paying for the meal and this is what I get as my takeaway meal. Burnt food has been linked to cancer, and I get it this is a grilling business, but burning it so much and making it inedible?Had to eat just the sides, as it was difficult to eat this. Please teach your chefs to focus more on the food, it's cooked meat you are grilling, just keep an eye on the food!Anyone ordering takeaway, I suggest opening the box and checking before you get home. It shouldn't be this way, but here we are. I'm going to try another nandos now.

On Sunday evening (14th November 2021) I was dropping my son in Oxford. My son felt like some Nando’s and as this Nando’s does halal chicken we decided to pop in here. When we arrived we asked for a table for 3 (my daughter had come along for the ride). We were told the wait was 15 mins, which was fine. The staff member said to scan a QR code to wait in a queue (which was non existent as we were the only ones waiting) as I scanned the code the manager walked up to the staff member and quietly told him that the wait is now 30 mins. He relayed the message to me. As we had to drive back 60 miles and it was already around 8:30pm, we asked if we could get a takeaway instead. As we ordered our takeaways we found almost every item we wanted was ā€˜unavailable’, but we did manage to find a few items. As we ordered another couple entered the restaurant and asked if they could be seated to the same member of staff. They were immediately seated. It was clear that these people did not have any booking and were not on the wait list. It hadn’t even been 6 mins since we had entered the restaurant.I asked the staff member how is it that those people had been seated immediately when you said our wait was 30 mins? He said, it wasn’t his fault, his manager told him and he was just relaying the message. I then asked, ā€˜if the manager was wrong and a table had become available whilst I was still ordering in the takeaway, and you knew I wanted to eat in, why didn’t you tap me on the shoulder and ask if I would still like a table? That would be courteous!’ His response was ā€˜it’s not my fault you should have put your name on the waiting list, you can speak to my manager, she’s the one that got it wrong’.At this point I had become very irritated. But I kept as calm as I could and as my son and daughter were with me and hungry, I waited for our takeaway to be ready. Personally if I wasn’t with my kids I would have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere. Now to the food. The takeaway was awful. I’ve added a pic of the grilled chicken in pita that I had. It was as dry as a desert. I’ve obviously been to many Nando’s before, but the food at this restaurant was not worth it at all.
