Papa John's Pizza in South Oxfordshire

The staff were super friendly and recommended various deals etc. The service was pretty fast, in 10minutes we had a £7.99 large pizza!The pizza absolutely banged!Will be back

Ordered at 16:15, arrived at 5:45! Food was cold and no dips included either. When I called to express my dissatisfaction I was told to contact their customer service department and she couldn’t issue a refund. Shocking customer service from the restaurant itself. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again. If you like your pizza hot and delivered in a reasonable time, get a dominoes.

Pizza was fine and the sides other than the fact my jalapeño bites had gone solid and cold. but took over 2 hours to arrive and said it had been delivered for 30 to 40 mins before it actually arrived, was also cold

Two bad experiences in a row.Took 1.5 hours from order to delivery. Although on the tracking system for both deliveries it said I had received food after 1 hour. On arrival food was cold and my extra dips I had ordered were missing.Second delivery took 1:45 hrs to the door.Again took 1.45 minutes for delivery. AgainAgain teaching system

Delivery was quick but missing a box.. in order to get 50% off, you have to spend £30, so I did. When enquiring, I was told the receipt was correct when blatantly I had the order on my phone. I’m not the one to complain at all but I may as well of paid full price.

A very disappointing experience and we will not order again from here, unfortunately. The pizza arrived two hours later and when we tried to contact them, they were impossible to reach! When we finally got through to them, they offered free pizza as a recompense but this didn't materialize either!

Papa John's used to have good service until few months ago. The pizzas are still okay but the delivery took over an hour in the last 2 times. After a while the track order page claims that the order was delivered but nothing arrived yet.. when they answered my call they said that the pizza is ready and they are waiting for the driver which meant the pizzas weren't very hot on arrival. Maybe it's better for a pizza place not to deliver if they are going to frustrate their customers

ordered before an exam, bad idea! although my friends and I had left it TWO HOURS before the exam, just in case. Was lied to three times as they said 'the delivery person has just picked it up' they said that three times with 20 minute intervals, my friend stood in the rain (beginning of storm Eunice) for an hour waiting for the pizzas. Have not been fully refunded yet, looking at the other reviews it wasn't a mishap. The people on the phone did not care and gaslighted my friend telling him that he did not say that the pizzas had just been picked up, on the past two calls. We ended up cancelling the order 10 minutes before our exam because we were so frustrated.

Terrible service. I ordered pizzas for a business meeting, they never showed up. Worse, their app told me it had been delivered. When I phoned, I was told it was not their fault because the app was bad, and that it would go out in 5 minutes. The food never arrived, I had to let my colleagues leave the meeting hungry. To compound the embarrassment, I had told them that the food was definitely coming because the operator at Papa John's has assured me it would be there soon. So I was unable to make an alternative arrangement due to being led astray twice.Phoned many times, with no one picking up. Finally, nearly two hours after the initial order, I got through, and they again said 5 minutes, this time for the pizza to arrive. When I pointed out that my meeting was not over and that I had had to send people out for food, and wanted a refund, I was told to call the driver. I asked for a refund, and they still kept backpedaling. Very unpleasant and rude, in fact, just odd. Who behaves this way? Something is wrong at that branch for sure.

The delivery driver this evening was quite frankly awful!! The food was delivered cold, I only received half my order and part of someone else’s. I received a 500ml bottle of Pepsi max which the driver had opened and drunk out of!! When I tried to give him the drink back he refused to take it and threw it at the door, proceeding to swear at me.Quite frankly a shocking service received and I sincerely hope that driver has since been sacked!! It also arrived 20 minutes late to what I requested.
