Always pleasant staff, great coffee ☕️ 👌

The guy who served us was very friendly - told us about the drinks deal. He let me charge my laptop. It has made a cancelled train an enjoyable experience.

·

Always a good selection of food/drinks/newspapers etc

·

Got a large cappuccino. Was debating a sandwich but I didn’t like the choices. Large cappuccino was very big, big enough for 2 people

Haven't had a coffee from here for a while and was really happy to see 4 non dairy milk options available! Had a great oat milk caramel late for my journey. The lady who served me was lovely too. G'wan pumpkin cafe! (The one on the platform)

Terrible serviceArrived in the cafe with a person waiting in front of me and no sign of a waitress. Looked around the back and saw someone on their mobile phone so asked if they were serving. Got a sharp ‘in a minute’ reply. She then allowed someone else to jump in front of me once the other customer was served. No smiles or greeting at all. Was given the drink and stood there waiting for the receipt. She was one her phone again. Asked for receipt which came without a smile. Almost £3 spent on a black Americano. Wished I had to opportunity to use somewhere else as this was dire - even for simply the quick exchange for a coffee!

There are two Pumpkin café's at Didcot Parkway station, one just outside the gates, another between platforms 2 and 3.Honestly I think the coffee here is the worst, you're better off getting a Costa Express from the SPAR that's also outside the gates. Their cakes are also obviously from frozen and they must keep it for more than a day, first and last time I got a muffin it was quite stale.Prices are what you'd expect from a station coffee shop.Giving it 3 stars because the customer service is always nice.

I stopped by for a coffee between trains as I had some time to wait and just fancied something nice. So I popped in to here based on the brands reputation but I'm sorry to say I was NOT greeted with a smile, nor was my polite hello reciprocated. Coffee was rushed, heavily overpriced and simply not made properly, to be honest it tasted so bad it got thrown away. It was around 11am on a Friday and there was very limited food options available, I literally think only 1 sausage roll and some massively overpriced pastries and cakes, so effectively nothing savoury as I would expect from a "pumpkin café". All the about said, the shop was very well stocked with magazines, bottles and fee other (less than healthy) snacky bits so if you want something to read you've got choices but I really would avoid the coffees and don't expect feeding from this outlet :(
