If you like burnt sausage this is the place for you. On a serious note serving a sausage that is burnt this badly to a paying customer is an absolute disgrace and these people should not be around food.

Don’t come here if you want a full dine in experience breakfast - this is no longer available. No freshly cooked food. The only options are refrigerated packaged food such as rolls, yogurt, and some light snacks. The long reaching claws of COVID strike again. If you love a freshly warmed egg and spinach roll straight out the packet - enjoy! Love to all you people!

Popped in for a late afternoon snack and they had sold out of half of the menu. Been very busy today apparently. So I opted for the Hunters chicken and very tasty it was.....when it eventually arrived. Over 20 minutes it took and they did not have that many customers. Maybe a shift change or something? Anyway it was quite appertising to look at that I forgot to photograph it!It was served hot and came with chips and garden peas. The pot off tea was as good as ever but why oh why do I have to clean the cutlery every time before I eat here? In this day and age it's just not acceptable. For comparison I was in a 'greasy spoon' the other day ( see my last review ) and the place and cutlery were spotless!Still will be going back as when they have not run out of Ham, they do a mean Ham, egg and chips!

I keep giving it chances, but I finally give up.I used to come here quite often. The food was basic but tasty, and I enjoyed a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich when I escaped the kids to do the groceries. The past few times I've been, the food has just been awful. The breakfast sandwich on thick white bloomer bread has been replaced by regular sliced white. Today I tried it in a baguette and the bread had clearly been microwaved - it was so chewy as to be almost inedible. Just get a baguette from downstairs, they're nice!I've also come here for dinners with the kids, and the pasta is rubbish for the price. I had an all day veggie breakfast and the egg had obviously been microwaved in a square container given its shape on my plate. It was also so over cooked I couldn't eat it (which is saying something for me. I am not a picky eater)Given that the (perfectly good) ingredients for the meals are available downstairs, I don't get why I'm paying more for something worse in the café.It gets 2 stars as I'd still get tea here, but that's about it.

The food just isn't as good at Tesco's cafe which is a shame because I generally prefer the sainsburys branded food over Tesco. I only really go the tesco/sainsburys cafe for breakfast and Tesco's has more choice and is better cooked. The last couple of times I've been to sainsbury's it was lukewarm and the fried eggs were hard. It's the same in 3 different sainsbury's cafes (Bicester, Oxford and Milton Keynes) so its not just a bad branch.

Surprisingly tasty food for extremely good value! I had a chicken tikka masala with naan bread and rice and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but nothing to complain about.

Yet again only one person serving..!!! Had to wait over 15 mins to be served...the man was very polite and friendly, but I was disgusted to hear the waitress telling him off because he gave a hot jug of water to a lady to heat her baby's bottle....she should have taken him to one side and told him...she said it was Health and safety ..not very professional????

Arrived at 13:45 on Saturday and waited 40 minutes for food. Ordered Hunters Chicken for £5.50. I uploaded a photo - overcooked peas and a tiny lump of chicken. Not good value at all and poor service. At least they refunded me without question. Avoid.

Went in for lunch with my mum. We had 2 jacket potatoes with cheese. Lovely service and didn't have to wait long for food, the potatoes were a little dry but with the salad it wasn't too bad.
