·

Very nice place, friendly staff, and great food.

·

Amazing local market. The barista makes delicious drinks and the products are very reasonably priced and mostly local! Lovely green and playground outside and village beyond. Fresh fruit, veg, and cafe with hot food!

·

Great shop for essentials. They've been providing a fantastic service for the community during COVID-19.

·

Brilliant place to pause our walk and enjoy some genuinely delicious cakes — a gorgeous, sticky iced ginger cake and a white chocolate and raspberry (fresh!) cake. Lovely little garden which provides the freshly cut flowers for the tables.

·

Talking shop is wonderful - cafe, shop (5 1/2 days a week) and farmers market on Saturday. Meet friends and neighbours. Fab!

Talking shop is a lovely, friendly space, with incredible community participation. There is community-run shop and cafe, serving delicious, affordable food--with vegetarian and vegan options available. The shop has a very nice selection of wines, sweets, basic staples, and lovely gifts. There is good wifi, and toys and games in a "play corner" for children. The setting is wonderful, with a garden outside (contributing to the kitchen!) and an amazing-looking playground. On Saturday mornings there's a lovely farmer's market in the hall, and you can enjoy coffee and breakfast from the cafe while picking up veg, bread, local organic meat products, lovely yarns, etc (depending on the vendors).

What a lovely place to have a coffee and lunch, if you are passing through the village, or indeed if you are local. It is on the main road through Sandford and offers light lunches, coffee, tea etc and also has a community shop. Manned mainly by volunteers, it is very friendly and welcoming. I had the soup of the day - £3 for a large bowl plus bread! Certainly will go again. Well done to the Sandford on Thames community !

This is an excellent little cafe shop. We visited here on Friday May 11th, 2018. The food is very tasty and the staff are really friendly. Robert & Alison Greer from Belfast in Northern Ireland (UK).

My experience of the talking shop is, it is friendly, welcoming, relaxing , serves great coffee and food, if you need something you have run out of you will usually find it on the shelves , that will certainly be good quality, the eggs are wonderful and always fresh as are the nice tasty cakes and very reasonably priced, I’m not always able to be a very regular volunteer only when I am able to I can be found helping in a small way to do little jobs that need doing on a Friday morning , it gets me out to a place I thoroughly enjoy being for a few hours , I always come home feeling a sense of satisfaction that I have spent that short time doing something worthwhile for the talking shop, I’ve met so many nice and pleasant people to pass that time with, talking shop may you go from strength to strength for many long years
