Ordered 4 or 5 times during and since lockdown. Won’t get a Michelin star but reliably good food

Excellent, great taste, reasonably priced and ready for collection when they said it would be. Would thoroughly recommend for take away (have not eaten in).

Wonderfully friendly team serve up a waist-expanding all you can eat chefs recommended banquet filled with some 8 generously sized starters and 3 main courses for a measly sum. Quality and flavours are great. A spacious and clean dining room add to the experience. A rare and out-of-the-way little gem!

Not your typical Chinese restaurant. It looks like a residential flat from the outside, and inside is just as weird - it's like someone's home. Tables are too close together and its hard to have a conversation when the place is busy. The food is mediocre at best. All the vegetarian dishes taste almost identical and not all that inspiring, or cheap. The service, however, is good.

90% of the time Excellent food bur occasionly food standards slip as if a different chef and food becomes very average. Could also do with writing down your order as some times forget bits. But overall an excellent Chinese restaurant. One of the best I have eaten at.

I have been working in the area so gave this place a try. The service was really friendly and quick and the food was delicious and perfectly presented. It was so good in ended up eating here 3 nights on the bounce. If it am ever back in the area is will be eating here again.

We always love the Shangki Li.The staff are so friendly and they are amazing with our toddler. They have several high chairs but they were also happy for her to attempt to sit on a big chair!They gave us advice on different options to try and gave us information on where they originate from and little snippets of Chinese food info.They are attentive without suffocating you which is sometimes hard to get right.The food is an all you can eat but made fresh to order which means the food is always really really yummy!Genuinely can't recommend enough!

A friend of mine was lovely enough to take me here and I loved it straight away. The owners are wonderfully friendly people and all of the staff give such a personal service that even someone like myself who was not from the area was remembered when I returned five months later.The crispy lamb is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. I could eat that and that alone and still be happy. That being said, everything on the menu is beautiful.It can get very busy so make sure to book!
